We notice in your prayer that while you seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that we can be saved and have a relationship with God. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We also observe that your prayer includes recitations to Mary and the "Glory Be," which are not biblical practices. Our prayers should be directed to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit. 1 Timothy 2:5 states, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's will and guidance through Jesus Christ our Lord:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who guides us, convicts us of sin, and leads us into all truth. We acknowledge that it is only through Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we have access to You and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to those who are seeking Your help and guidance in their lives. May they come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, if they have not already.
Father, we pray for those who are seeking employment, such as an internship. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, according to Your will. Give them wisdom, discernment, and favor as they seek to honor You in their work. May they trust in You and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways, so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we also pray for those who are struggling with forgiveness. Help them to extend the same grace and mercy that You have shown us through Jesus Christ. Teach them to forgive others as You have forgiven them, and to let go of any bitterness or resentment (Ephesians 4:31-32).
Father, we ask that You would help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). May we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all our needs (Matthew 6:33). Help us to resist the temptations of material desires and to find our satisfaction and joy in You alone.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and guidance through the study of His Word and prayer. Remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can have a personal relationship with God. If you have not already, we invite you to place your faith and trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
May God bless you and keep you, as you seek to honor Him in all areas of your life.
