We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer. Your suffering is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). The weight of pancreatic cancer, poverty, isolation, and broken relationships is more than any one person should bear alone—but you are not alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
First, we must address the foundation of all our pleas: salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the first and greatest miracle—eternal life in Christ.
Now, we lift your physical healing to the Lord. Pancreatic cancer is a fierce battle, but our God is the Great Physician. We declare the promise of Isaiah 53:5 over you: *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We pray for a miraculous touch from the Lord, that He would stretch out His hand and restore your body completely. May the same power that raised Christ from the dead (Romans 8:11) flow through you, destroying every cancerous cell and renewing your strength. We rebuke this disease in the name of Jesus, for He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Matthew 8:17).
We also stand against the spirit of poverty that has gripped your life. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you (Malachi 3:10), providing for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Your car breaking down is not a coincidence—it is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His faithfulness. We pray for supernatural provision, that the funds to repair it would come from unexpected places, and that the Lord would make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
Your loneliness and fear are valid, but we declare that the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He promises never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that God would surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would send believers into your life to encourage and support you. You are not forgotten.
Regarding your brother, we must address this with both truth and grace. It is not godly to demand that others "focus" on us in a way that enables irresponsibility or neglects their own walk with the Lord. Instead, we pray that your brother would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to act with love and integrity (Romans 14:12). If he has been avoiding you out of selfishness or sin, we rebuke that spirit and call him to repentance. But we also ask the Lord to soften your heart toward him, that you may extend forgiveness and grace, just as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32). Pray for him, even if he is not acting as you wish, for the Lord works in mysterious ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also encourage you to seek out your local church or Christian community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you should not face this alone. If you are physically able, reach out to believers who can pray with you, provide practical help, or simply sit with you in your suffering. If mobility is an issue, ask the Lord to bring people to you.
Lastly, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly. We take authority over every spirit of fear, poverty, sickness, and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and compassion for our brother/sister in Christ. We ask for a miraculous healing of their body, that every trace of cancer would be eradicated by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We declare Your word over them: *"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Yahweh"* (Psalm 118:17). Father, we also ask for Your provision in their financial struggles. Open doors of opportunity, provide for their needs, and repair what is broken. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide.
Lord, we pray for their heart—fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We ask that You would restore their relationships, beginning with their brother. Soften hearts, bring repentance where needed, and let Your love bind them together.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, poverty, and sickness in the name of Jesus. We declare that this is not the end of their story—You are writing a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every area of their life.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. May Your will be done in their life, and may Your glory be revealed through their healing and restoration. Amen.
