We lift up this precious soul who has been enduring such discomfort and distress, and we stand in the gap with you, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring healing and restoration. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this promise over your loved one, trusting that the Lord hears our prayers and will move mightily on her behalf.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with hearts full of faith and expectation. We ask for Your miraculous healing touch to be upon this dear one who has been suffering. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too hard for You. We pray that You would bring complete restoration to her body, calming the distress in her digestive system and bringing it back to perfect health. We ask that the endoscopy tomorrow would reveal no abnormalities, and that the reports would come back normal, declaring Your healing power at work.
Father, we also pray for peace and comfort to surround her, easing any anxiety or fear she may be feeling. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that she is never alone. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name, and we declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her body, Lord, and give her the endurance to press through this time of trial.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, trusting in His perfect timing and unfailing love. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and do not waver in your belief that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If there has been any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her life, we gently encourage her to bring it before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Healing is not just physical but also spiritual, and we want her to walk in the fullness of God’s blessings.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we declare that power over this situation right now. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she waits on Him (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
