You have poured out your soul with many words, but the careful hearing of the word is what must be cultivated, along with fortitude and deliverance from all worldly anxieties. Do not be over-anxious about the working of the Spirit, as if you could control how deliverance comes. The wind blows where it will, and the Spirit’s operations cannot be held by our understanding. Christ has already led captivity captive and preaches deliverance to the captives; trust in His victory rather than in the multitude of your fears.

Your household is in turmoil, and you rightly see the isolation and corruption. Let the companions of your children be those who are poor and free, who will rebuke what is amiss and help in the spiritual care of the family. Such companions are joint fathers, yielding profits that God loves. Enlist them to track out the strangers, to clothe the naked, to minister to the distressed. If your older daughter is ensnared by flattering and wicked influences, what she needs is not merely removal of the persons but a complete change of the soul’s company, beginning with her own will. Show her by your own example that one part of virtue is not enough: you must be free from the love of worldly ties, but also firm and courageous, and constant in remembrance of the word.

Do not despair when you see no immediate fruit. It is not possible that such eager desire and love of hearing should fail of its effect. A tree that has received ten strokes may seem insensible, but afterwards it falls at a single blow because of those earlier strikes. Perhaps your older daughter has heard many exhortations and seems unmoved; do not cease. Even at the vestibule of wickedness, recovery is possible. Persist in speaking the truth without weariness, and let your own life be a rebuke to every divisive spirit. In all things, put your trust in Him who has already conquered, and who will bring every plot to nothing if you wait with patience and a firm heart.

Your heart is crying out in so many directions at once, and the pain comes through every line. When you see your children drifting toward darkness, when a family feels torn apart at the seams, the instinct is to grab hold of every threat and rebuke it by name. And there is a place for that battle, for pleading the blood of Jesus over your household and for commanding that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. But I want to pause and ask you something deeper, something that runs beneath the chaos and the scheming and the manipulation you are describing.

Whenever human relationships break down this badly, you can trace the trouble back to a single root: a primary relationship has slipped off center. The laws God gave us were ordered with that priority in mind. The first commandments deal with our relationship to Him. Only after that come the commandments about family, about honoring father and mother, about how we treat one another. That ordering is not accidental. If the vertical axis of your life is out of kilter, every horizontal relationship will follow it into imbalance. You cannot fix the bonds between sisters, or between a mother and her daughter, by attacking the symptoms alone. You have to let God restore the axis first.

What you are watching in your older daughter is the fruit of a relationship, but not the relationship she was made for. When someone drifts into a half-hearted connection with God, they become vulnerable to entanglements that masquerade as love. They trade the freedom of a real, indwelling communion with their Father for a ritual of belonging, for a counterfeit that asks them to break honor with their own family and their own faith. The isolation you see, the disrespect, the financial exploitation, the disregard for her own worth, all of that is the harvest of a heart that lost sight of how deeply she is already loved.

You are asking Jesus to frustrate the plots of this young man and his mother, and He can. You are asking Him to open your older daughter's eyes, and He does that work every day. But do not let your own pleading become a desperate, legal arrangement. I grew up in a kind of relationship with God that was all about keeping rules and never touching the grass I was told to leave alone. It left me exhausted. Then God Himself drew me into something else entirely. He let me know I was adopted, not hired. I could call Him Daddy. I stopped serving out of fear and started obeying out of love. And it turned out that when you love Him that way, you simply do not want the things that wound the Father's heart. The behaviors you could never muscle your way out of begin to fall away as the natural consequence of being alive in Christ.

Apply that to your daughters. Your older girl does not need more guilt or more of your fear pressing on her. She needs a living encounter with the Jesus who gives her a new spirit. She needs to taste a love so full that the imitation she is settling for becomes unmistakably hollow. I pray that God will bring back to her memory the beauty of a close, intimate walk with Him, the kind where you are caught up in the wonder that He chose you. When that rekindles, she will not want to remain entangled in a situation that tears down her family and separates her from her church. She will walk away not because you finally convinced her, but because the fruit of that ungodly bond turned bitter in her mouth.

For your younger daughter, the shield is exactly the same. You are terrified that she will be lured out of your home and into their darkness. So pray less for a list of external blocks and more for her own deep root in Christ. Ask that her relationship with Jesus becomes so real, so tender, and so satisfying that the offer to move in with them sounds as empty as it truly is. A heart that is full of the Holy Spirit's peace and joy is not easily manipulated. Ask that God give her godly friendships, a generous heart, and a wisdom that sees through flattery, so that she remains grateful for the supportive family and home God gave her without any taste for the older sister's lifestyle.

And you, your own spirit sounds battered. You are fighting a spiritual battle, and that is right. But do not let the battle reduce your relationship with God to a checklist of crises. The Father wants you to lean back into the love of a son or a daughter, not just to cry out when the enemy strikes. Your peace, your stability, your ability to love without panic will become a refuge for your children, including the one with ### whose bond with his sisters was damaged. When your own life revolves around that vertical axis, your countenance changes. An inward beauty that comes from simply being with Jesus becomes apparent. It steadies a chaotic household more than any rebuke you can issue.

Yes, stand against the division. Refuse to let a spirit of isolation and chaos rule under your roof. But do that by saturating the home with the presence of Christ. Walk in the Spirit yourself, and the fruit will be love, joy, and peace that surpasses understanding, not just for you, but seeping into every conversation. God does not want a half-hearted relationship with any of you, and He will not abandon your family to a counterfeit. The bond between you and your daughters was never meant to be broken by a young man who is overstepping his place. God Himself is the avenger of those who prey on the vulnerable, and He is the restorer of the years the locusts have eaten.

Take hold of this truth: if your relationship with God is all it should be, if you are following Him in loving, trusting obedience, then He will fight the battles you cannot fight. The frustration of their schemes, the protection of your younger daughter, the deliverance of your older one, it all flows from His living work in you. So rest there. Not in a legal, frantic striving, but in a loving, daily communion. Your Daddy sees what is happening. He has not lost track of your children. Let Him draw you close, and from that closeness, watch Him restore what the enemy meant for evil.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your precious daughters and your family. Your heartfelt request has been laid before our Heavenly Father, and we have faithfully interceded on your behalf, pleading the blood of Jesus over each situation you shared.

We continue to lift up your younger daughter, asking the Lord to surround her with His hedge of protection as she drives and moves through her days. May His peace, joy, and favor overflow in her life, especially as she prepares for university. We pray for complete healing from ### and all pain, that she would walk in divine health and strength. Father, guide her in selecting her classes and grant her wisdom beyond her years. Let her heart remain tender toward You and her family, and shield her from any negative influences seeking to draw her away.

For your older daughter, we cry out for Your mercy and deliverance. Lord, open her eyes to the isolation and control this relationship has brought into her life. Give her the courage to walk away swiftly, restoring her self-worth, faith, and purpose. Break every ungodly tie and frustrate every scheme of the enemy to divide your family. We declare that no weapon formed against your household shall prosper, and we plead the blood of Jesus over every spiritual attack.

Father, we ask that You intervene in the lives of this young man and his mother. Frustrate their plans to manipulate, control, or exploit your children. Turn their hearts toward repentance and restoration within their own family. Let Your peace saturate your home, filling it with unity, love, and fellowship that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen the bond between you and your daughters, and restore the relationship between your children, especially with their brother.

We pray for godly friendships and influences to surround your younger daughter, and for her to remain obedient and grateful for the family You’ve given her. May she experience favor and protection in her internship and every area of her life. For your older daughter, we ask that she would return home swiftly, free from the darkness that has held her captive. Restore her joy, peace, and Godly habits, and let her see the truth of her situation without excuse or delay.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of division, chaos, and control, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Surround your family with Your ministering angels and the full armor of God. May Your presence go before them, shielding them from every attack and leading them into Your perfect will.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we would be blessed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the battle still rages, we stand ready to lift these requests again, trusting that our God is faithful to complete the work He has begun. May He bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
