I pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son to the Lord, who loves him even more than you do. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of faith, and we join with you in agreement, believing God for complete healing, restoration, and breakthrough in every area of his life. The depth of your love and concern for your son is evident, and we stand with you, interceding on his behalf according to the will of God.

Father, we thank You for the peace You granted your son last night, and we ask that You continue to saturate him with Your presence today and always. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we claim this promise over him. Let Your peace, which transcends all human understanding, guard his heart and mind, calming every storm within him.

We rebuke the spirits of torment, confusion, agitation, and anxiety that have been troubling him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command them to flee, for Proverbs 18:10 tells us, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." Your son is safe in You, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of PTSD, negative habits, and past hurts that have taken root in his life. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing over his mind, body, and spirit.

Lord, we ask that You replace every negative behavior with godly manners and expressions. Give him the desire to communicate his wants and needs in ways that honor You, and fill him with confidence, calmness, and satisfaction. We pray for his meals, that he would eat peacefully and be content, free from any discomfort or confusion. Bless his stomach, Lord, and remove any physical distress that causes him to struggle. Let every sound and sensation be covered by Your protection, and may he find joy and peace in his daily routines.

We also lift up the relationships in his life. Father, restore his sister’s loving heart toward him and mend any broken friendships. Remove anyone who causes division, strife, or looks at him as a burden rather than a blessing. Redirect those who are jealous of your family’s unity, and surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage and uplift him. Let Your love flow through every interaction, filling him with gratitude, compassion, and understanding for those around him.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over your son and your entire family. Surround your home, vehicles, and every place he goes with Your angels, shielding him from all harm, spiritual attacks, and negative influences (Psalm 91:11-12). Wash him in the blood of Jesus, cleansing him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, and let Your presence be a constant comfort to him. We declare that he is free from fear, nightmares, and anxiety, and that Your peace will fill his days and nights.

We pray for his caregivers, support coordinator, and everyone involved in his care. Grant them wisdom, patience, understanding, compassion, and strength to work with him in ways that bring out the best in him. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible. Let every outing, travel, and appointment be filled with Your joy, peace, and protection.

Father, we thank You for the miracles You have already performed in his life, including the 20 months he has been seizure-free. We declare that there will be no more setbacks, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may he grow in confidence, independence, and joy.

We pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your faith and persistence in prayer are inspiring, and we believe that God is moving mightily on behalf of your son. Continue to stand on His promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life (Philippians 1:6). May you and your family experience His peace, joy, and restoration in abundance.

We hear the love and sheer exhaustion behind every line you’ve poured out, and we are holding your son and your whole family up before the Lord with you. You are not alone in this.

If your son is ever in immediate danger of harming himself, please reach out to your local emergency services or connect with a confidential helpline at findahelpline.com. Your own steady presence is a safeguard, but trained help is there when you need it now.

As we pray, we also want to gently encourage you to keep leaning on the skilled professionals God has placed around your son. The challenges you describe, PTSD, anxiety, autism, the self-injury, are heavy, and alongside prayer, the right therapeutic and medical support can be a real instrument of Christ’s healing. You are already a fierce advocate for him; that kind of faithful love is making a difference, even when you can’t see it yet.

One thing we are holding onto in prayer is that deep, in-the-bones trust often rebuilds itself through safe, patient relationships. That is exactly what you give your son every day, a steady harbor of love that does not give up. That matters far more than any bad day or setback. Healing will often come in tiny steps nobody else notices, but you are watering those seeds with your prayers and your presence.

Let’s pray together now:

Lord Jesus, we lift this precious son to You. Wrap him in Your calm; quiet the storm inside his mind and body. Protect him from every evil influence and break off fear, confusion, and despair. Soothe him so deeply that he feels Your nearness in every meal, every task, every moment of rest. Give his caregivers wisdom, patience, and fresh compassion. Guard this mother’s heart from weariness and fill her with hope. We ask for a tangible breakthrough of peace over their whole home tonight, a restful, undisturbed night and a tomorrow marked by gentleness. Keep this family anchored in Your love and surrounded by whatever support they need. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You have come again to the well of prayer for your son, stooping to draw the cool water of mercy for him, and just at the rim of the bucket the noise of archers has startled you. The past days have brought back the old specters, the agitation at meals, the tormented looks, the habits you thought were buried with yesterday’s troubles. And today is a day set apart: his sister’s birthday, a day you long to see him calm and the house filled with something like the peace you have been begging heaven to send. I do not wonder that your heart feels squeezed, as if all the old fears were new again.

But listen. The Lord who gave him a quiet night has not changed His mind with the morning light. That peaceful sleep was a little love-token, a folded note slipped under the door of your soul to say, “I am still here, and I am still listening.” You are not drawing water from a dry well. You drank from it last night, and it was sweet. The same water is rising still. The Enemy would have you think that every setback means the Lord has hidden His face; but that is the oldest arrow in his quiver, and it has never yet struck a child of God who hid herself in Christ. Your Son is not cast off. You are not cast off. The agitation you see is a storm, but it is not the whole sky.

Your dear boy is not beyond the reach of the Tree of Life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. That Tree is Jesus Christ Himself, and there is a leaf for every torment of the mind, every scar of memory, every grooved-in habit that PTSD has carved. You may not see the leaf unfurl all at once. Healing is often a quiet, living thing, like a green shoot pushing through winter soil while you are still sweeping the floor and doing the next thing. But it is real. His leaves are not for show; they are for broken nervous systems and troubled emotions and bodies that have stored up sorrow. You may pluck a leaf for your son’s meals, another for his shaving and his grooming, another for his sleep. Christ’s healing is a wide, deep thing, it can reach places no physician can touch.

At the same time, I hear you telling the Lord that you trust Him, and then you list a hundred needs. Child, that is not unbelief; that is love pouring out its burden like Hannah at the tabernacle. But after you have poured it all out, I would have you sit down quietly and say, “What I cannot do, I leave to Thee. This is Jesus’ will for me today: to care for this son of His, and to love the daughter whose birthday we are keeping. The impossible is not my department.” To be pressed by thronging duties and still keep your soul like a weaned child, that is a gift worth asking for. And if you must choose between a perfect day and the presence of the Lord Jesus in the middle of an imperfect day, you know which is the lasting treasure. His grace is sufficient when the table is a battlefield and the hour is anxious. His peace is not a fragile china cup that breaks at the first tremor; it can dwell in a house where there is still a struggle, because it dwells inside you.

There is a promise I would spread over your son like a quilt: “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside.” I am not saying he was cast aside, but the tormenting memories, the negative patterns, the anguish that makes him seem a stranger to himself, these shall in God’s own time be as though they had never been. The Lord finishes what He starts. And when He brings His children out of their prison-house, they do not come limping in rags; they come out with silver and with gold, enriched by the very trial that seemed to sink them. The day will come when the scars you see now will be no more marks of sorrow than the wounds of the risen Lord, which speak only of victory. You will yet say, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord,” and you will say it over your son’s life too, that he did not sink beneath the weight but is a living proof of the Shepherd’s care.

Today, then, do the little you can. Butter his toast and pray over it. Sing a quiet hymn while you help him dress. When the sound of shaving tools or the wind outside makes him restless, remember that the angels who watch over him are not deaf and blind, and they have their orders from the Throne. You have asked for a spirit of calm and cooperation; ask it again in the very moment, and then leave the result with the One who loves him even more than you do. He sees every bite that is taken in peace, every moment of gentleness, as a quiet triumph of His grace. And if the day does not go as you hoped, do not let the hound of unbelief bay through the house all evening. Muzzle it with this: Jesus keeps the record, and not one answered prayer is lost. The peaceful night you had last night is a pledge of more to come.

I will join you in asking for a special tenderness over this family birthday, that your daughter may feel the warmth of a home where grace is working, that your son may sense the love of Christ in a new way, and that you yourself may be upheld by the Everlasting Arms.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You are the Tree of Life planted in the midst of the garden for the healing of Your people. Stretch out Your hand and lay a healing leaf upon this precious son. Quiet the storms inside his mind; calm his body; soothe the old terrors that rise up unbidden. Let his meals be peaceful and his rest sweet. Today, for his sister’s birthday, give the whole household a taste of that peace that passes understanding, not the world’s brittle calm, but Your own presence making a sanctuary of their rooms. Rebuke the spirit of agitation and torment; send it away as You silenced the waves, with a word. Cover every sensory trial and every memory-haunting sound with Your wounded hand. And to this faithful mother, who carries so much, give the deep rest of knowing You are at work while she sleeps and while she prays. When the noise of archers threatens to drown out her faith, be her shield and her very great reward. We ask all this in Your mighty name, Lord Jesus, confident that You are even now answering. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious son. It has been our heart’s joy to lift him before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap him in peace, heal every emotional and physical wound, and restore the joy, love, and satisfaction that only Christ can give. We have prayed specifically for the chains of anxiety, PTSD, and negative habits to be broken, for godly friendships to be restored, and for every area of his life—his meals, his travels, his hygiene, and his relationships—to be saturated with the Holy Spirit’s calm and gentle presence.

If you have seen even the smallest glimmer of answered prayer—a peaceful night, a moment of contentment, a step forward in healing—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony strengthens our faith and reminds us all of God’s faithfulness. If, however, the battle continues and the breakthrough feels distant, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you, lifting your son in prayer until every stronghold is shattered and every promise of restoration is fulfilled.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you continue to seek Him. May His love surround your son like a shield, and may His healing power flow through every part of his life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
