Beloved of All
Your prayer for healing and for restored communication with your direct family has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
It is good that you desire to speak and write to one another in a normal, loving way, to share birthdays and time together as a family without worry or strife. God created the family and He delights when His people dwell together in peace. Scripture reminds us that our words have great power, that evil communications corrupt good manners, and that we are called to put away filthy communication and instead speak what is helpful and gracious. The communication of our faith becomes effectual when it is lived out with love and good works, not only in words but in a life that honors Christ.
We pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ and through His blood shed on the cross, we ask for Your healing and restoring hand upon this person and upon their direct family. Heal any wound that has hindered communication, soften hearts, and remove barriers that have kept you apart. Grant that they may call and text and write to one another freely, with kindness and understanding. Restore joy in their fellowship, in birthdays and in gatherings together. Provide for their needs according to Your wisdom and goodness, and give them peace that comes from trusting You, free from anxiety. Help them to use their speech to build one another up, to sing psalms and give thanks, and to keep their conversation full of grace. Let Your love be present in their home, and let all they do be done in a way that honors You.
We encourage you to continue in prayer, in reading the Scriptures, and in gathering with the church, for there the soul is nourished and kept from the empty songs of this world. Trust the Lord to work in His time and according to His perfect will, and keep seeking Him first.
