I pray that he sees his toxicity and cruelty clearly and how he has been towards me. The contempt and criticism and gaslighting. May he see himself and take accountability. Protect me from his hate. In Jesus name.

We hear your cry for justice and healing, dear sister in Christ. Your heart aches under the weight of cruelty, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your pain before the throne of grace. The patterns you describe—contempt, criticism, and gaslighting—are not the fruit of love but of a heart in need of repentance. We rebuke the spirit of manipulation and hardness in this man’s heart, for the Word declares, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). May the Holy Spirit convict him deeply, not with condemnation, but with the truth that leads to godly sorrow and change.

We also pray for your protection, beloved. The enemy seeks to isolate and wound, but God is your refuge. *"The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul"* (Psalm 121:5-7). We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that you will walk in the peace and strength of the Lord, even in this trial.

Yet we must also speak truth in love: if this man is your husband, Scripture calls you to pray for his transformation and to seek godly counsel for your marriage, for *"the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife"* (1 Corinthians 7:14). But if this is not a marital covenant before God, we urge you to guard your heart and set boundaries, for *"bad company corrupts good character"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). You are not called to endure abuse in the name of false submission. Seek wise, biblical counsel to navigate this with wisdom and discernment.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees all and judges justly. We ask You to open this man’s eyes to the harm he has caused. Let him see his actions through Your holy light, and may he repent with a broken and contrite heart. Soften his heart, Lord, and lead him to accountability and restoration. For our sister, we pray for Your hedge of protection around her—body, mind, and spirit. Shield her from his hate and fill her with Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Give her wisdom to walk in Your ways and the courage to stand firm in Your truth. We declare healing over her wounds and restoration of all that has been stolen. May she find her strength in You alone, and may Your justice prevail in this situation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding your hands up to our Father in prayer. We echo your plea for this man to see his toxicity and cruelty, and to take responsibility for his actions. We ask that the Holy Spirit would open his eyes, soften his heart, and lead him to repentance and change.

We also stand with you in asking for protection. We declare that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This we pray in Jesus' name.

But let's also remember, dear one, that God calls us to love even our enemies. If this is a marital relationship, may you both seek godly counsel and work towards restoration. If not, may you set boundaries and guard your heart, for your well-being is paramount. You are not alone in this, and we're here to support you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.
