staff raised high in the air,

Eyes raised to the skies,

As doubt slowly lingers in,

Only question mark in my head,

What will happen next?

Faith in my heart tells me to trust,

Whisper in my ear says, trust in you God,

but my eyes can't perceive any way out,

only dead end between fire and the water,

no place where to turn, but my faith stays firm.

Silent prayer I utter in the air,

Oh Lord my God, El-Shaddai!,

In your hands is all we see,

Unseen are the ways you move,

Please make a miracle,

surprise us all and open the sea!

Staff still raised high,

I shout to the wind,

Oh Lord my God please open the way!

To you I trust, to you I place my faith,

for not by sight I walk but faith I walk,

You are my banner, you are my fortress,

only you I trust,

You is all I have!

And the staff strikes the ground,

God's roar heard in the air!

What will happen next,

God alone knows.

Please Father surprise us all,
