Amen Scott! Satan is going to attack you and me and everyone standing for their marriages because he wants us to doubt God and His promises. He wants us to lose faith so that he can win this battle....BUT WE MUST NOT LOSE FAITH! Even though i had a great praise report to share, my husband still is telling me he wants a divorce. It hurts and is very confusing. Satan wants me to believe that God will not restore my marriage and will not bring my husband back...ever. But I just have to keep my eyes on God and stand on what He promises. God knows I love my husband very much, he knows whats in my heart and He hears my prayers and cries. But He also knows my husband's heart. He will not return my husband with such a hard or semi-hard heart. I told God that I want my husband back when he is completely ready. And God will do it. As much as I want to try to get my husband back and rush the process, I cant and I won't because that will just mess everything up and the process will end up taking even longer. Praise God that your wife is speaking to you more Scott...some people don't hear from their spouses at all. We are blessed that God has allowed the doors of communication to still be open while our spouses are gone. And remember that you are not alone in this. You have the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost with you. You also have us. We are all in this together. We all lean on each other here. Let us all continue to pray for each other and our spouses. God hears us and will see that His promises come to pass.
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You to thank for what You are doing in our lives. I thank You for the blessings that You have given us, no matter how big or small. Father I pray that You please continue to touch our spouses' hearts, remove all the hardness that has taken over them and replace that hardness with a softness and love so deep for You and their standing spouses, that they can't help but feel a strong desire to return home for good. Lord please deliver them from the enemy's grip. Free them from captivity Lord God. Open their eyes and ears and help them see and hear Your truth Father. Expose Satan for who and what he really is Lord. He has only come to steal, kill and destroy. But Lord there will be a day when will You command him to let go and give back what he has stolen sevenfold. Father nothing is to hard for You. You are the One and Only that reach our beloved spouses in ways that no one in this world can. I pray that You fill them with godly sorrow. I pray that You break them in a way that will help them realize that their lives with us was so much better. And I pray Father God that You continue to step in and intervene in mighty ways Lord. Cancel and nullify all of Satan's plans to destroy these marriages through divorce. Let Your light shine on us and our marriages and breathe Your breath of life into these marriages Lord. Let there be full reconciliation and restorations in our marriages Lord. We thank You Father for what You have done and what You are going to do. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. Jesus, You are our Healer and our Restorer. We love and thank You for being with us and our spouses at these hard times Lord. We glorify Your name. Thank You Lord. Amen and Amen.
