I want to say thank you to everyone on here that takes the time to pray for all of our marriages! I have been uplifted so many times and you have helped to make my walk with God and faith stronger.
So for the good news, my husband and I have really begun to talk more about or feelings, what we did wrong and what we need. Last night he finally said that him saying that he wanted/pursing a divorce was the wrong choice, but he felt like it was the only thing he could do to fix it. He openly is admitting how unhappy he is and misses me daily. Yesterday, we talked about the things we missed and loved about each other and it felt like old times. The best part of our conversation last night was sharing scripture with each other back and forth. I am ashamed to admit that I was not sure that I would ever ssee the day. I have questioned so many decisions over the last 7 - 8 months, but am so happy that I got out of God's way. My husband still has some conflict in his heart about us, but I know that God is more than able to remove that obstacle in order for a full restoration/renewal.
Lord, thank you for being with me and so many other here in our time of need, I am so grateful. I humbly ask that you continue to work in all hurting marriages, remove obstacles, bring forgiveness, rebuild trust, loyality, friendships, and love. Most importantly help couples to rebuild marriages with you as the rock! Speak to the heart and minds to those of us in despair and to our spouses, guide the way to reconcilation. Grant us a love and appreciation for each other that is unshakable. I ask for patience and understanding to wait on our spouses to return, and for you to build a hedge of thorns around married couples, so that there is no outside interference that is not blessed by you. Lord, only you can do the impossible and I can truly say that I am a witness to your power! Thank you for peace, grace, wisdom, trials, failures, and the VICTORY! I love you Jesus and give you the honor, glory and praise...AMEN
