I am writing to this site seeking prayer for employment. I have been in the food service industry for over 20 years but I have been unemployed for over 1 year because I have financial responsibilities that haven't gone away just because I have been unemployed. Employment is not the only thing I need prayer for. I would also like to request prayer for a ministry opportunity. God has given me a talent to prepare good foods and I would like to use that talent to minister to others and win some to Christ.
I know that God has called me to do such work. I was preparing meals for the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission in Salem, Oregon and was able to minister to some of the most disagreeable people. Anyway, my heart is very heavy to get the "Word" out so that people can come to know Jesus and be Saved.
