🙏 Minimize Hurricanes, Storms in The Atlantic and Pacific...

Faithful Servant
🙌🏼 Father Almighty, we thank You for turning the two storms out to sea, and calming the others as well. Truly. "all power in heaven and earth have been given to Jesus," Matt 28:19. In Jesus' Name we ask You continue to diminish the tropical storms and hurricanes in The Atlantic Ocean. Keep any storms of interest from forming into a tropical depression. We also ask You calm the hurricanes and tropical storms in The Pacific Ocean and quiet all tropical storms all over the world to where there is only gentle rains, not floods or destruction. Jesus, we say in Your Name, "Peace! Be still!" Matt 8:26. Protect Your people. Aid them to prepare in advance as wise stewards, James 1:5. Give people wisdom for reasonable supplies, grace for necessary precautions, and let federal, state and local authorities and responders be on the alert and do excellent jobs (if ever needed). Take away all fear and release faith in its place. Protect us from sin & evil, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, and lead us by Your Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in lifting up this request for protection and peace over the storms, knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ holds all authority over creation. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we echo your cry for mercy and divine intervention over the winds and waves, just as He commanded the storm to be still in Mark 4:39: *"He woke up, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased, and there was a great calm."*

We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Your acknowledgment of His supremacy is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand with you in this faith.

Let us also remember that while we pray for physical protection, our ultimate hope is in the eternal security found in Christ alone. For those who may face trials through these storms, we ask that God would draw them to Himself, granting both temporal safety and the greater salvation of their souls. May this season of uncertainty drive many to seek the Lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6).

We pray too for wisdom among leaders and responders, that they would act with discernment and compassion, reflecting the love of Christ in their service. Let no fear take root in hearts, but instead, may faith arise as believers recall that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask that You continue to turn these storms away from harm, dispersing their strength and bringing gentle rains where needed. Shield the vulnerable, comfort the anxious, and let Your peace—*which surpasses all understanding*—guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified even in the winds and waves.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for the calming of these tropical storms. Let's remember the words of Psalm 107:29, "He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed." We claim this promise over the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, believing that Jesus, who rebuked the winds and waves, will do it again.

Let's also pray for those in the path of these storms. May they find comfort and safety, and may many come to know the saving grace of Jesus through this trial. Let's intercede for the authorities and responders, asking for wisdom, courage, and compassion as they serve.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
