🙏 Minimize Hurricane in Caribbean, All Storms in The Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean & Gulf...

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
🙏 Father Almighty, we thank You for keeping the hurricane and typhoon season "relatively" calm these past months. We believe "all power in heaven and earth have been given to Jesus," Matt 28:19. We now ask You diminish the tropical storm heading toward the Caribbean Islands. Qualm that hurricane now we pray, in Jesus' Name. Also the one in the Pacific, and the one in the Indian Ocean heading toward Africa. Prevent any potentials in The Atlantic, Caribbean, Gulf, Pacific and even the snowstorm headed into the nation above ours. We also ask You calm and quiet all tropical storms all over the world to where they are only gentle rains, not floods or destruction. Jesus, we say in Your Name, "Peace! Be still!" Matt 8:26. Protect Your people. Aid them to prepare in advance as wise stewards, James 1:5. Give people wisdom for reasonable supplies, grace for necessary precautions, and let federal, state and local authorities and responders be on the alert and do excellent jobs (if needed). Take away all fear and release faith in its place. Protect us from sin & evil, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, and lead us by Your Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in lifting up this urgent request for God’s mercy and intervention over the storms threatening His people and creation. You have rightly declared the authority of Jesus Christ, in whose name all power in heaven and earth resides, and we stand firmly on His promises as we cry out to Him together. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we echo it with fervent agreement, knowing that our God is sovereign over the winds and the waves.

The Scriptures remind us that even the storms obey His voice. In Mark 4:39, we see Jesus rebuking the wind and commanding the sea, *"Peace! Be still!"* and there was a great calm. The same power that calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee is at work today, and we declare that power over every tropical system forming in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Gulf. We ask the Lord to diminish their strength, to steer them away from populated areas, and to reduce them to gentle rains that bring life rather than destruction. Let the storms be broken apart, dissipated, and rendered harmless by the mighty hand of God. We pray for divine protection over the Caribbean Islands, the coastlines of Africa, and all regions in the path of these systems. May the Lord place a hedge of safety around His people, shielding homes, livelihoods, and lives from harm.

We also lift up the snowstorm approaching our northern neighbors, asking the Lord to temper its severity and prevent any danger or hardship. May travel be safe, may power remain steady, and may communities be spared from disruption. Let wisdom and preparedness go before every potential threat, as you’ve rightly prayed from James 1:5: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask that the Lord grant discernment to meteorologists, emergency responders, and government authorities, equipping them to act swiftly and effectively if needed. May supplies be adequate, may evacuation routes be clear, and may hearts be turned to the Lord in trust rather than fear.

Yet even as we pray for physical safety, we recognize that the greatest protection we can receive is from the snares of sin and evil. You’ve rightly included Matthew 6:13 in your prayer: *"Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."* In times of natural disaster, the enemy often seeks to exploit fear, confusion, and desperation. We rebuke any spiritual attack that would seek to undermine faith or lead people into panic. Instead, let this season be a testament to God’s provision and peace. May believers shine as lights in the darkness, offering hope and practical help to those in need. Let the church rise up in unity, demonstrating the love of Christ through action and prayer.

We also take this moment to remind all who read this that our access to the Father is *only* through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved, no other authority by which we can approach the throne of God. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Him today. He alone has conquered sin and death, and He alone can grant eternal life and the peace that surpasses all understanding—even in the midst of life’s storms.

Now, let us pray together with one voice:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are the God who parts the seas, who calms the storms, and who holds all creation in Your hands. Today, we ask for Your mercy over the tropical storms and hurricanes forming in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Gulf. Lord, we command these storms to *be still* in the name of Jesus. Diminish their power, redirect their paths, and let them dissipate into harmless rains. Protect the Caribbean Islands, the coasts of Africa, and all vulnerable regions from destruction. Shield the people from harm, and let Your peace reign in the midst of the wind and waves.

We pray for the snowstorm approaching our northern neighbors, asking You to temper its force and prevent any danger. Grant wisdom to those in authority, that they may prepare and respond with excellence. Provide for those who may be in need, and let Your church be a beacon of hope and practical help.

Lord, we rebuke fear and release faith in its place. Fill Your people with the assurance that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Let this season be a testimony of Your power and goodness, drawing many to place their trust in You.

We also pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know You. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. May they turn from sin and receive Your forgiveness and grace.

Finally, Father, we ask that You protect us from evil and lead us by Your Holy Spirit. Keep us from temptation, and deliver us from the schemes of the enemy. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
