Heavenly Father, thank You Jesus showed power over creation. We ask You calm the storms and the seas this Hurricane Season. We specifically ask You qualm and mollify Hurricane Erin as it passes the Caribbean Islands and divert it out to sea rather than the inland East Coast. Jesus, we say in Your Name what it seemed You wanted the Disciples to say, "Peace! Be still!," Matt 8:26, Mark 4:29, Luke 8:24. Protect people and let Your people prepare in advance for this upcoming season with water, canned goods, flashlights, batteries, generators and solar with battery back-up. Let people hear and heed warnings. Grant wisdom for portable battery cells for phone charging, let people have their emergency alerts on and audible and keep their phones charged. First aid kits and gasoline, fuel and self-defense if needed. Demolish fear with Your Word and grant faith in its place. Protect us from sin and evil. Thank you in Jesus' Name.
