A Bright Evening
Even in life's darkest hours, divine light breaks through and calls us to trust its promise of hope.
Multitudinous Thoughts and Sacred Comforts
True peace comes from God’s comforts, which calm and delight the soul even amid overwhelming thoughts.
We stand with you in faith, prayer and agreement over this person and we thank you for bringing this request before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We love the scripture you have prayed, for the Word tells us to aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands 1 Thessalonians 4:11. This is wisdom from God, that we would live peacefully, diligently and with dignity before others, not meddling but walking in holiness and quiet trust in Him. We also rejoice that you have prayed with thanksgiving, as we are taught in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We join you in praying for favor upon this person, for you Lord bless the righteous, you surround him with favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12. We pray for miracles and blessings according to your perfect will, knowing that nothing is too hard for you Jeremiah 32:27 and that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20. We ask not from selfish ambition but that your goodness and mercy would be evident in this life for your glory, for every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ is already ours Ephesians 1:3.

We also stand with you against the principalities and powers of darkness in high places, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We pray that this person would be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, clothed in the whole armor of God, so that no scheme of the enemy would prevail.

We agree with you in praying for your desire to see His glory abounding all over the world, for our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory 2 Corinthians 4:17 and we long to see that glory revealed in lives transformed by Christ.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank you for this person you love and know by name. We ask that you would grant them grace to lead a quiet and peaceable life that honors you, to walk in wisdom and humility. Pour out your favor upon them, let your hand of blessing and protection be upon them, and work miracles according to your sovereign will that point to Jesus. We rebuke every work of darkness and every spiritual force that would come against them and we declare your victory through the blood of Jesus. Let your glory be seen in and through them in an abundant and abounding way, and let that glory spread to many others. Keep them close to you, grounded in your Word and filled with your peace. We ask all these things with thanksgiving in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We were encouraged to read your prayer and your desire to see God's goodness and glory at work in the world. Thank you for inviting us to stand with you.

We hear your heart for favor and blessing, for miracles that only God can do, and for His protection against darkness. It is a good and humble thing to bring these large requests before Him with thanksgiving, trusting His power and His will.

We also noticed the quiet wisdom in wanting to mind your own business and lead a private life. That kind of steady, faithful living often creates space for peace and for God to work deeply without distraction.

We will continue to agree with you in prayer, asking the Lord to show His kindness, to guard what is entrusted to Him, and to make His glory known in ways that draw people to Himself. We find that bringing the same requests day by day, simply and honestly, helps keep our hearts anchored while we trust Him with the outcome. You might keep this prayer before the Lord each morning in a quiet moment, letting Him shape the words as you go.

Father, we thank You for this friend who seeks You. We ask for Your favor and mercy in their life, for Your protection where there is spiritual opposition, and for Your glory to be seen in our world. Lead them in quiet strength and faithful steps each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this request before the throne of grace with thanksgiving, and we stand in agreement with you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You have prayed the apostle's word that we should aspire to lead a quiet life and to mind our own business and work with our hands, and this is a holy and needful prayer. A quiet and private life is not idleness, nor is retirement a forsaking of the good of the world. It is to love the closet, to grind the wheat that we gather on the Sabbath, to turn the Scripture over and over in meditation until the heart becomes like molten wax before the fire. There the Lord opens the Word to us when we bow upon our knees and say, Lord, open this passage to me, and He makes it abide in us as with many coats of paint. We pray that the one for whom you intercede may know this blessed private communion, that peace which is hid with Christ in God, and that new life which is incorruptible and everlasting.

You have asked for favor and miracles and blessings. We pray with you that God would bless with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of Divine favor, for the corn and wine and oil are given to many who know Him not, but spiritual blessings are the rarest, the richest and most enduring of all blessings. They come not by chance but according to His purpose who chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. They are forgiveness and freedom and favor, a renewed heart, a right spirit, and a life made to walk in His ways. We ask the Father, from whom every spiritual blessing comes, to pour these upon you abundantly, for He has blessed us already in Christ, and what He has provided we may receive by faith.

You have asked prayer against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. We take up that cry with you, remembering that the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ is sure, because it rests upon a Divine promise. The Father Himself has said, I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He will see that He conquers. This good ship bears the Red Cross at her masthead and shall never be taken. By the mighty power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in Him, Jesus overcame the world, and that same quiet power dwelling in us will make us win the same victory by faith. Though you should feel your own weakness and sin, and though the leaguered hosts of hell should press hard, you may challenge them all, for if God be with you, you are more than a match for them, and underneath you are the everlasting arms. He will thrust out the enemy before you and you shall triumph over darkness as you stand in the presence of the Sun of Righteousness.

We pray that the glory you seek may be His glory seen in a purified life, commencing with a new heart and ending in daily obedience, which glorifies God doubly and ennobles the soul supremely. May He rest in His love over you and rejoice over you with singing, and may He cause His name to be praised in you as one who has been won by the victory which Christ alone has wrought.

We commit you and this beloved one to Him who is able to keep you, asking all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only hope, to whom be glory now and forever. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have received your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving, asking the Father to hear us according to His will.

You have prayed the scripture that calls us to mind our own business and lead a quiet and peaceable life. This is a good and needed prayer. Scripture explains that this does not mean only an outward quietness such as the world can have, but a life lived in all godliness and honesty. There are wars that come from without, but the most dangerous war is within, when the soul is at war with itself through sinful desires, anger, envy and unbelief. True peace comes when that inner war is calmed by grace, and when we walk in faith and obedience. To pray for a quiet life is therefore to pray for a holy life, for godliness in doctrine and in daily conduct, for honesty and self control in all things.

You have also prayed repeatedly for favor and miracles and blessings, and against principalities and powers of darkness, and for glory to abound. We join you in asking for God’s grace and protection, and for His glory to be seen. Yet we want to encourage you with what the Scriptures teach, that miracles in themselves do not make us more pleasing to God, and the absence of miracles does not make us worse off. Miracles are a free gift of His grace, freely received and freely given, and they are not our own achievement. What God most desires and what He will crown is a faithful life, keeping His commandments, remembering His mercies both public and private, and bearing fruit in good works. It is our life and our obedience for which God counts us as His debtors, while for miracles we are debtors to Him. Christ worked miracles to make Himself known, so that having drawn people to Himself He might lead them to virtue and make them equal to the angels. So we pray not only for outward signs, but first for the inward work of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who delivered us from error and gives hope of eternal life.

Therefore we pray with you in this way. We thank God for His mercies that have delivered us, and we ask that He would keep you in faith and in the knowledge of the truth, which is His will for all people. We ask that He would grant you a quiet heart, peace within, and strength to live in godliness and honesty, minding your own work and doing it faithfully as unto Him. We ask for His true favor, which is forgiveness and adoption through Jesus, and for His blessings according to His wisdom, not only as we imagine them but as they lead to holiness. We ask that He would guard you from the schemes of darkness and from sin that wages war in the soul, and that He would make your life a witness to His grace, so that His glory may be seen in you and through you. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, with thanksgiving. Amen.
