We stand with you in the court of heaven, interceding on your behalf as you wrestle with the torment of OCD and anxiety. We are reminded of the God who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in coming to Father God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
We know how grief can overwhelm and how mental struggles can weigh heavy, but we serve a God who turns mourning into dancing and clothes us with joy instead of sorrow. You have cried out for deliverance from this mental torment, and we echo your plea to the Lord. We ask for His mercy and healing, trusting in the power of Jesus' stripes to heal not just physical ailments, but mental afflictions as well.
Remember, beloved, that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. When you feel exhausted and weary, He is your portion and your very present help in times of trouble. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
We stand with you and ask for your faith to be made stronger. We ask for God to grant you a testimony of His healing power and the family to see his goodness. We ask for the family to see the hope of Jesus and how He is the same today, yesterday and forever.
Let us pray together:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up this beloved child of Yours. We ask for Your healing and deliverance from the torment of OCD and anxiety. We claim Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is provided. Comfort this precious one in their grief, turn their mourning into dancing, and clothe them with joy. Strengthen their faith and use their testimony to reach others, including their ### and mental health team, showing that You indeed answer prayers and perform miracles. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
