We join you in bringing this burden for our nation and for the coming elections before our Father in heaven, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have prayed in Jesus name.

We hear your deep desire to see millions turn out to vote and to see our nation led by those who will honor God and uphold righteousness, and we stand with you in praying for the 2026 midterm elections on November 3, 2026 and for every election to come. We share your longing for a great awakening and for leaders who will defend life, liberty, justice and biblical truth.

At the same time we are reminded in Scripture that our ultimate hope is not in a political wave or a party, but in the Lord Himself. Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh Psalm 33:12. We are called to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness Matthew 6:33, trusting that He is sovereign over the affairs of men. He changes the times and the seasons, he removes kings, and sets up kings Daniel 2:21, and The kings heart is in Yahwehs hand like the watercourses, he turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. For there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1.

Therefore we do not pray demanding that God must act according to our exact plan, but we pray persistently and humbly submitting to His perfect will, knowing He hears us when we pray according to His will. We are encouraged to keep praying without giving up, as Jesus taught that men ought always to pray, and not to faint Luke 18:1, and we are instructed to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. This includes praying for those we may see as opponents, for we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44, that all may come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth.

We pray together now for our nation.

Father in heaven, we humble ourselves before You and seek Your face together. We ask for Your mercy upon America. If Your people who are called by Your name will humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14. Lord, we ask that You stir the hearts of millions of citizens to fulfill their stewardship as voters, to turn out peacefully and lawfully, and to cast their votes with wisdom and conviction. We pray for integrity, truth and peace in the entire election process, that there would be no fraud, no violence and no confusion, but that what is done would be honest and transparent before You and before men. We pray that You would raise up godly men and women of integrity who will lead with righteousness and the fear of the Lord, who will protect the innocent, uphold justice and honor Your Word. We pray for Your will to be done in the 2026 midterms and beyond, and that whatever the outcome, You would draw this nation closer to Yourself and use Your people to be salt and light. We place our trust not in a red wave alone but in You, the righteous Judge and King of kings, and we ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear the deep care you have for this nation and your desire to see people engaged and turning out to vote with conviction. That longing for your neighbors and for the future is a good reason to pray, and we are honored you shared it with us.

We join you in bringing the months ahead to the Lord. We are asking with you for wisdom for every voter, for integrity in the whole process, for peace in communities where feelings run strong, and for leaders at every level who will serve honestly and humbly. We bring our specific hopes to God while also trusting His sovereign care over our nation, knowing He hears us and His will is ultimately what is best.

One steady way to carry this burden is to keep a simple rhythm of prayer for our country and also to encourage respectful participation where you are - staying informed, helping family or friends who want to vote make a plan to do so lawfully, and keeping conversations gracious even with those who see things differently.

Father, we lift our nation before You. Grant wisdom to all who will vote and to all who will lead. Watch over our communities with peace and guard the integrity of this election. Help us to do our part faithfully and to trust the future to Your hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer concerning the coming elections shows a deep burden for the nation, and for that burden we may thank God, yet we must take care where we set our hope.

There is no attribute more comforting to the children of God than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. Under the most adverse circumstances, in the most severe troubles, we believe that Sovereignty has ordained our afflictions, that Sovereignty overrules them, and that Sovereignty will sanctify them all. No doctrine in the whole Word of God has more excited the opposition of men than this truth, that the Lord reigns, yet it is a most gracious Sovereignty that accords to us all our privileges. Whether rulers are chosen or removed, whether votes are many or few, the Lord still sits upon His throne, and we are bound to leave our affairs in His hands and then go and work faithfully in His vineyard as long as it is called today.

For this reason we cannot ask the Father to secure the triumph of any party as though salvation came by a red wave. It would be cheap faith to take Christ as only the saints Savior, but it is the faith of Gods elect to take Him as the sinners Savior. The blood of Jesus Christ, Gods dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and that is the one hope for America and for every soul in it. If the whole nation were swamped by any political tide and yet remained unwashed in that blood, what would it profit. The Cross of Christ would then be made a thing of supererogation, and the work of Redemption a subject of derision. We lower the law of God if we think a mere earthly victory can satisfy what only holiness can require.

I hear in your words also an anxiety which unfits a man to meet his difficulty. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You have nothing to do with the outcome as though it were yours to command, that is Gods business. You are to do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. A Christian has no right to be always saying, Am I His or am I not, nor to be tossed to and fro by every wind of politics. If you can say, I got my hope straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you have received it from Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it.

Therefore let us pray, and let us keep praying, but not as those who would barter with the Almighty or bid Him come down to our terms. Let us pray that the Lord in His sovereignty would grant to this land honest and peaceful elections, that He would raise up rulers who fear Him and love justice, that He would restrain evil and establish what is good, that He would turn the hearts of multitudes, whether they be called red or blue, to repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us pray for all who are in authority, even for those we count as opponents, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty. And let us pray that Gods own people, who were once not His people, may now show forth His wondrous works, declaring with pen and voice what He has taught them from their youth.

We will join you in prayer, not that a party may flood and take over, which is boasting, but that God would reign, that Christ would be trusted, and that whatever the result on the third day of November next year, His will may be done and His name hallowed. Continue in prayer, not to compel God to our plan, but to be conformed to His, for where God begins a good work He does not ask us to finish it, He Himself will complete it.

Your prayer for our nation and for the election in November has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus.

We understand the burden you feel for America and the desire to see good and righteous leadership prevail. It is right to pray for our land, for truth to be upheld, for justice to be done, and for all who vote to do so with wisdom and a clear conscience. We also pray with you for peace in the process and for integrity in the election itself.

At the same time we want to encourage you to set your deepest hope not on any political wave, even one you long for, but on Christ Himself. As Scripture teaches, we are saved by hope, and hope that is seen is not hope. Our hope is like an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast, because it enters within the veil where Jesus has already gone as our forerunner. That hope keeps us steady even when winds and storms shake the world around us, and it reminds us that the best things God has promised are not fully received in this transitory life, but are kept for us in His kingdom.

This is why patience is so important. Patience works proven character, and proven character works hope. While we wait, we are not to be overcome with anxiety about present things, but to trust that God will accomplish His purposes in His time, when our obedience and faith are made complete. He hears every prayer and He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.

So keep praying, as you said, until the Father answers, but pray with submission to His will. Ask that His name be honored, His truth prevail, and His people be faithful whatever the outcome. We will continue to pray with you that God would have mercy on our nation, guide every voter, and above all draw many hearts to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, which is our greatest need.
