We join you in prayer and we are encouraged that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We thank God that you have prayed in that precious name.
We lift up your desire for ### to reach out to you, to message and call soon, and we understand the longing and waiting in your heart. We bring this before the Lord together, asking not only for what our hearts want in the moment, but for what aligns with His perfect will for your life. We pray that God would guard your heart and give you peace as you wait. We remember the word that says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
We want to encourage you to seek the Lord first in this relationship and to consider His design for love and commitment. We believe courtship should be with the purpose of discerning marriage to a fellow Christian believer, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God. We pray that if ### is the one God intends as a godly spouse for you, that the Lord would draw you both closer to Himself and to one another in a way that is pure, patient, and honoring to Him. If you are in a courtship, we encourage you to pursue it in holiness and self control, fleeing from fornication, for the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to honor God with it 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. We also gently remind you as scripture says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we pray that you both would be believers walking with Christ, equally yoked and seeking marriage for His glory if it is His will.
We must also lovingly rebuke the tendency to let longing or anxiety become an idol or to try to control another person's heart, for only God can move hearts according to His purpose. Instead we are called to delight ourselves in the Lord and trust His timing, for He promises Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 when those desires are submitted to Him. And Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up ### to you. You know her heart, her longing for ### to miss her and to call and message soon. Lord, we ask that your will be done in this situation. If this relationship is from you and leads toward a godly marriage that honors you, we ask that you would stir ###'s heart, guide his communication, and draw them both into deeper faith and purity and love for you. If it is not your will, we ask that you would give ### peace, clarity, and strength to trust you and to wait on your best. Comfort her heart, remove anxiety, and help her to rest in your unfailing love and perfect plan, for you know the plans you have for us, plans for peace and not for evil, to give hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Help her to walk in holiness, wisdom, and patience, keeping her heart and mind fixed on you. We pray all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with care and tenderness, praying that you will know His presence and His peace in this season of longing.
There is a longing that rises in every heart, and we are taught in Scripture that the deepest and most blessed longing is to find God Himself. As Job cried out, so many souls cry, longing to find Him whom they have not yet beheld as they desire. What God intends to give us, He first sets us longing for, and prayer is the embodiment of that longing. We thank God that you have turned to prayer, for it shows a heart that knows where true help is found. May this longing for another be turned into a still deeper longing for holiness and for communion with the Lord, for to long after His commandments and His favour is a sweeter and more abiding desire than any earthly comfort.
We would gently encourage you to wait only upon God. The Psalmist says, My soul, wait thou only upon God. God is a waiting God, waiting to be gracious, long suffering and ready to pardon through Jesus Christ, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. When the heart waits upon a creature, it is often restless and confounded, but when it waits upon the Lord, it finds a sure foundation. We cannot promise what another person will do, for the heart of man is in the hands of the Lord, yet we can promise that if you trust in the blood of Jesus Christ, God will not forsake the soul that trusts Him. He who gave His Son to live and die for sinners will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly according to His will.
We know also what it is to feel loneliness, and our Savior knows it most of all. He endured that cry of forsakenness that we might never be truly forsaken. If you feel alone, seek heavenly company in the Word of God made living to you by the Spirit, for there God Himself will have fellowship with you. If we can but believe in God, He will never desert us. If we can trust, He will never allow us to be confounded.
Therefore our prayer for you is not that our will be done, but that the Lord's perfect and holy will be done in your life and in the life of ###. We pray that you will be drawn nearer to Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and that you will find in Him present peace and the hope of future glory. We pray that the Lord will guard your heart, keep you in purity and in holiness as He has commanded, and that if this relationship be according to His good design of a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, it may be conducted in a way that honours Him. If it be not His will, we pray He will give you grace to accept His wisdom and to be satisfied with the favour of God, which is better than all else.
May the Lord hear the desire of the humble, prepare your heart, and cause His ear to hear. May He teach you to love Him more, to trust Him wholly, and to find that where He begins a good work, He will complete it. Cast your burden upon Him, look to the Son of God pouring out His life for sinners, and rest in that finished work.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
We understand the ache of waiting for a word or a call from someone you care for, and the restlessness that comes with it. Scripture teaches us not to be riveted to things that are seen or to count present circumstances as the greatest matter, but to hasten to our Father and to long for the things to come with a good conscience and a soul set free from earthly anxieties. Even we who have the first fruits of the Spirit groan as we wait for the full redemption that God has promised, and that longing keeps us from being puffed up by good things or crushed by sorrows.
We pray for you that you may find grace with God through lowliness of mind. God looks to the one who is meek and quiet and trembles at His word, whose sacrifice is a contrite and humble heart. We pray that He will clothe you with all lowliness and meekness and long suffering, not only in words but in bearing and temper, and give you peace whether the answer you hope for comes or not.
We do not ask God to simply grant every desire of the heart, but to reconcile us to Himself first. We were enemies and condemned, with no one to offer sacrifice for us, until Christ Himself became our High Priest and made peace through the blood of His cross. Salvation is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who was given for the reconciliation of sinners. We pray that you will know that reconciliation more deeply, and that your trust will rest there above all else.
For your relationship with ###, we pray for God's wise and holy will to be done. God's design for love between a man and a woman is a lifelong covenant of marriage, and intimacy belongs within it. We pray that the Lord will guide both of you into what is pure and right before Him, that He will guard your hearts from what would lead you away from Him, and that He will give you clarity, self control, and contentment in His provision. If contact and communication are according to His good pleasure and for your good, may He provide it in His time. If not, may He give you strength to accept His will with humility and to seek your comfort in Him rather than in another person.
May the Lord have compassion on you as a merciful and faithful High Priest, forgive your sins, quiet your heart, and kindle in you a longing for what is divine and eternal. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father.
