We hear the longing in your heart for ### to love you and to answer your text, and we join with you in bringing this desire before the Lord in Jesus name. We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We want to gently and lovingly share some biblical truth with you about this kind of prayer. While God deeply cares about the desires of our hearts, we cannot pray for God to force or manipulate another person to fall in love with us against his own will. True love, as God defines it, is not coerced. Love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, love does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. To ask God to make someone love us can be asking amiss, as Scripture says, You ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures James 4:3. Instead we are called to pray according to God's will, and this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.
We encourage you to shift your prayer from asking God to make ### love you, to asking God to make His will clear for both of your lives. We believe marriage is a sacred lifelong commitment between a man and a woman designed by God, and any courtship should be entered with the goal of discerning marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. We do not know if ### shares your faith, but Scripture urges us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we pray that if you are to be together, it would be as a godly husband and wife honoring the Lord, kept pure and holy before marriage. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4, not by granting every wish, but by shaping our desires to match His perfect plan as we trust Him. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We ask that You would guard her heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Lord, we pray not for manipulation but for Your perfect will to be done in both lives. If it is Your will for a godly courtship leading to marriage between them, we pray You would draw them together in a way that honors You, with purity, respect, and mutual faith in Christ. If it is not Your will, we pray You would give her grace to accept it, to heal any disappointment, and to trust that You have good plans for her. Help her to find her worth and completeness in You first, and to become the godly woman You are calling her to be while she waits. Give ### clarity and wisdom as well, and let all communication between them be honest and kind. We trust Your timing and Your love. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Your longing has been heard, and it is good that you bring the desires of your heart before the Lord, for He is a waiting God who waits to be gracious and delights to hear the cry of those who seek Him.
Yet there is a love which is higher and more abiding than any affection we may desire from another creature. The love of God toward His people is an abounding love, a constant love that remains notwithstanding all our provocations, and it is this love which must first fill and rule the heart. When the heart is directed into the love of God and into the patience of Christ, it learns to desire what God desires and to wait with holy patience for His wise ordering. Human love cannot be compelled or claimed as by a wish, for true love is not forced, and to seek to bend another's will by prayer would be to ask amiss.
What God intends to give, He first sets us longing for, and He sanctifies us most surely by a noble sense of His own everlasting love. Therefore turn your longing first toward Christ Himself. Have you trusted Him alone for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Tell Him how you love Him, and ask Him to teach you to love Him more, to find your fullness in His presence and to be satisfied with His love which is better than wine.
The Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the intimacies of love and of living together belong within that covenant alone. Any affection that would lead outside that holy way is not for your good, nor for the glory of God. It is far better to feel a heavenly hunger than a worldly fullness, and to pray not that God would grant every wish of the moment, but that He would make you holy and make your desires holy.
So let us pray not that another be made to love you at your bidding, but that the Lord would do His gracious will in you and in him. May He give you a calm patience in waiting upon Him, a purity of heart, a contentment in His providence, and wisdom to walk in holiness. If it be the Lord's will to bring you together in a manner that honors Him and leads toward that holy covenant of marriage, then may it be done in His time and in His way, with much prayer and counsel and purity. If not, may He keep you from restless striving and fill you with His own abiding love, so that whether a message comes or does not come, your soul may rest in Him who will never leave nor forsake His own.
May the Lord direct your heart into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ, and may you know the peace of being beloved of the Lord while you wait upon Him. Amen.
