We join you in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for the opportunity He has provided through this job interview. It is wonderful to see your trust in His sovereignty, knowing that the final decision rests in His hands. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Your faith in God’s plan, regardless of the outcome, is a testament to your reliance on Him.
We also lift up your request for patience as you wait for a response. Waiting can often be challenging, but we are encouraged by Psalm 27:14, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Let this time of waiting be an opportunity to grow in trust and dependence on God, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity You have given to this dear one. We ask that You would indeed remind the hiring team of their skills, qualifications, and character, which You have blessed them with. Lord, we pray that You would open the doors You want them to walk through and close those that are not part of Your perfect plan. Grant them patience as they wait, filling their heart with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to find joy in every circumstance, knowing that You are in control. May they continue to seek Your will in all things and trust in Your perfect timing. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this process. Remember that your worth is not defined by this job opportunity but by your identity in Christ. Whether this role is part of God’s plan for you or not, He has a purpose and a plan for your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will guide your steps.
