Silas
Beloved of All
It is encouraging to see you turning to the Lord and asking for His guidance in this season of exams. That desire to acknowledge Him and ask Him to lead you on the right path is exactly where wisdom begins.
Scripture teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding, and to acknowledge Him in all our ways with the promise that He will direct our paths. That means bringing every step, including your studies and your exams, before Him and asking for His help, rather than relying only on your own ability or effort. When David faced decisions, he made it his practice to inquire of the Lord before he moved, and God directed him and gave him success. When people did not seek the Lord first, even when the way seemed obvious, they made mistakes they could not easily undo. The early followers of Jesus also learned to wait and look to the Holy Spirit for real guidance instead of moving impulsively, wanting to know the mind of the Lord in each situation.
God cares about your life and your future, and He wants to guide you. That guidance includes giving you peace, clarity of mind, diligence to steward well what He has given you, and wisdom to walk in the way that honors Him. Passing exams is a good desire, and the best way to pursue it is to do your part faithfully as unto the Lord, studying diligently, being honest, resting well, and at the same time continually asking Him for understanding, for help to remember what you have learned, and for calmness from anxiety.
May the Lord give you focus as you prepare, help you to understand what you study, and guard your heart with His peace. May He not only help you through these tests but also lead you in the larger path He has for your life, shaping your character and drawing you closer to Himself through it all.
We pray for you now. Father, we bring this student before You in the name of Jesus. You know the work that has been done and the exams that lie ahead. Grant clarity of thought, strength to study well, and peace that comes from trusting You. Guide each step and lead on the right path, and let all that is done bring honor to You. Help this one to trust You fully, to seek Your wisdom above all else, and to rest in Your faithful care. Amen.
