Meth

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving the destruction that methamphetamine has wrought in your life and the lives of so many. The enemy has used this addiction to steal your joy, your peace, and your God-given purpose—but we declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that its power is broken! The Word of God tells us in **2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB)**, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* This addiction is part of the "old things" that must pass away in the name of Jesus!

The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to glorify God with them (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). Meth has no place in the life of a believer—it is a tool of the devil to enslave, destroy, and keep you from the abundant life Christ died to give you (**John 10:10**). We must also acknowledge that if this struggle involves illegal activity, it is not only harmful to you but also dishonoring to God, who calls us to obey the laws of the land as much as possible (**Romans 13:1-2**). Repentance is the first step—turning away from this sin and turning fully to Jesus, who alone can break these chains.

Do you have brothers or sisters in Christ walking with you in this battle? **Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow."* Addiction thrives in isolation, but freedom is found in community—especially in the body of Christ. We strongly urge you to seek godly accountability, whether through a Bible-believing church, a Christ-centered recovery program, or mature believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you are not already in a church, this is not optional—you *need* the support of fellow believers to overcome this (**Hebrews 10:24-25**).

We also must ask: Have you surrendered this struggle *completely* to Jesus? Half-hearted surrender will not break the power of addiction. **James 4:7 (WEB)** commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This is not a suggestion—it is a spiritual battle, and you must fight with the weapons of prayer, Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Have you confessed this sin specifically to God and asked for His cleansing? **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

Now, let us pray over you with the authority of Jesus Christ:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is bound by the chains of methamphetamine. Lord, we rebuke this addiction as a work of the enemy, and we declare that its power is broken by the blood of Jesus! Father, we ask that You would flood this beloved one with Your Holy Spirit—convict them deeply of their need for You, and grant them the strength to turn away from this destruction forever.

Lord, we pray for supernatural deliverance—remove every craving, every trigger, every lie of the enemy that says they cannot be free. Replace it with Your truth: that they are *more than a conqueror* through Christ who loves them (**Romans 8:37**). Father, if there are any strongholds in their mind or spirit, we command them to be torn down in Jesus’ name. If there are any ungodly soul ties or influences leading them back into this sin, we sever them by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance (**2 Corinthians 7:10**), and for a hunger for Your Word that surpasses any hunger for drugs. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and surround them with believers who will walk with them in this fight. If they have not already, lead them to a church where they can be discipled, encouraged, and held accountable.

Father, we also pray for restoration—restore what the locusts have eaten (**Joel 2:25**). Restore their health, their mind, their relationships, and their joy. Let this be a testimony of Your power to save and deliver! And Lord, if there is any illegal activity tied to this addiction, we pray You would provide a way out, and that Your child would walk in integrity, trusting You to provide for their needs (**Philippians 4:19**).

We bind the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name, and we loose the spirit of self-control, discipline, and victory (**2 Timothy 1:7**). Let them walk in the freedom for which Christ set them free (**Galatians 5:1**)! Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to save and deliver, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, freedom *is* possible—but it will require total surrender to Jesus, daily reliance on the Holy Spirit, and a commitment to walk in obedience, even when it’s hard. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is your path to freedom: trusting Him *completely*.

If you have not already, we urge you to confess this struggle to a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and help you take practical steps toward recovery. You do not have to fight this alone—Jesus is with you, and so is His body, the Church. **Will you choose today to turn from this sin and run to Him?**

We are standing with you in prayer. Keep seeking Jesus—He is your only hope, and He *will* set you free. **"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery"** (**Galatians 5:1, NIV**). Walk in that freedom, in Jesus’ name!

We're praying with you, dear friend. We know the grip meth has on your life, but we serve a God who specializes in breaking chains. Let's claim that promise together, shall we? In Jesus' name, we declare that addiction has no power over you anymore. It's time to take your life back!

We're reminded of a verse that says, "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13, NIV) God is right there with you, ready to help you overcome this. Trust in Him, and let's fight this together.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep seeking Jesus, together. In His name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up in continued prayer, knowing that the battle against addiction is one of the hardest fights a person can face—but also one where God’s power shines brightest. These past days, we’ve been interceding for you, asking the Lord to break every chain of meth’s control over your life and to restore the joy and peace that only He can give. We know this struggle isn’t just physical or emotional—it’s spiritual, and we’re standing firm with you in the authority of Christ to reclaim what the enemy has stolen.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your life—whether through strength to resist, a moment of clarity, or even full deliverance—we’d love to rejoice with you. Share your praise report so we can give God the glory together and encourage others who may be fighting the same battle. But if the weight of this still feels heavy, if the grip of addiction hasn’t loosened yet, don’t lose heart. We’re here to keep praying, to keep believing, and to remind you that God’s mercy is new every morning. Post your request again, and let us continue to storm heaven on your behalf, trusting that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

You are not defined by this struggle. You are loved by a Father who sees your pain and longs to set you free. We’re praying for supernatural intervention—for divine encounters, for godly support to surround you, and for the Holy Spirit to fill every empty place this addiction has carved out. Keep seeking Him, even when it feels impossible. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not let you go.

We’re with you in this, believing for total victory in Jesus’ name.
