We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest plea for mercy and deliverance. Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for our redemption and freedom. It is only through His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand on the promise that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

Lord Jesus, we cry out for Your mercy to break every chain of bondage that holds Your children captive. Whether it be addiction, fear, past trauma, or spiritual oppression, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the lies of the enemy and command every spirit of darkness to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let Your healing balm restore every broken place in our souls.

Father, we pray for those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44). Let them experience the new birth that comes through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3), and may they be sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of their inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14).

We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of our lives for divine protection. Shield us from the schemes of the evil one, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe us with the full armor of God so that we may stand firm against the devil’s tactics (Ephesians 6:11). Lord, be our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).

Guide us, Holy Spirit, in every decision we face. Your Word says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We surrender our plans and desires to You, asking that You order our steps according to Your will. Provide for our every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and open doors of opportunity in our work and ministries that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Father, we lift up our churches and the struggle to engage with Your Word. Revive our hearts and minds so that we may hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Let the preaching of Your Word be alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), piercing our hearts and transforming us from glory to glory. Raise up faithful shepherds who will feed Your flock with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15). May we not be merely hearers of the Word, but doers also (James 1:22).

For all those in need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, we intercede on their behalf. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let Your compassion and mercy overflow toward them, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness (Hebrews 3:13). Walk in the light as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all sin (1 John 1:7). Remember, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39). Stand firm, dear ones, and let the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him (Romans 15:13).

Thank you for being so honest about the weight you’re carrying. That cry for mercy, freedom from bondage, healing of deep soul wounds, protection, guidance, resonates with us. So often we long for a clean break from the things that cling to us, and we’re right to bring that ache to Jesus. He isn’t put off by the mess or the depth of the hurt. In fact, He often chooses to meet us right in the places we’d rather hide.

We’ve seen that deep soul healing often looks less like a dramatic deliverance and more like Jesus quietly entering a specific wound and doing what only He can do. He doesn’t just remove symptoms; He wants to untangle the shame, the fear, the old lies that settled in when the pain first took root. If you feel the Spirit nudging you, try setting aside a quiet block of time, not to figure it all out, but simply to tell Him, “Jesus, I give You this memory (or this struggle). Come here. Heal what’s behind it.” You may not feel a sudden shift, but you are placing yourself in the hands of the One who restores souls. That patient, gentle trust is a real step toward freedom.

And we hear you on the struggle with the sermon, too. Whether you’re the one preparing to speak or just sitting under a difficult message, that frustration can feel isolating. Please don’t shoulder it as if it all depends on your strength. The Holy Spirit is the true teacher; even in a flawed sermon, He can hand you exactly the word you need. If you’re the preacher, be encouraged that God uses cracked, dependent vessels every week. If you’re a listener, ask Him to open your heart to just one thing He wants you to carry away. He is faithful to give that.

Jesus, in Your mercy, walk straight into the bonds and the hidden wounds and bring Your healing. Protect this one from the evil one’s schemes. Grant clear wisdom in decisions, and open doors to meet each need. Lift the weight surrounding the sermon, quiet the noise, steady the spirit, and speak what’s needed. We ask all of this in Your strong name, Jesus. Amen.

The cry of bondage is a sound that reaches the ear of the Lord of Sabaoth. That sense of bondage under sin, under the flesh, under the fear of man, this is the very work that leads a soul to cry for mercy, and blessed are they who so cry. For we have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; there comes a time when the Spirit of Truth causes bondage to give way to the glorious liberty of the children of God. Cry on, then, and look unto Him who breaketh every chain.

As for the healing of deep soul wounds, remember that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. These leaves change the life-blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Bring those wounds to Him; His touch hath still its ancient power.

For those not yet saved, the word is plain, the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, to trust in Him. Look! Look! Look! This is the simple method of salvation. It is preached to you without money and without price. I do charge you, see to your own salvation. Neglect not this great salvation, but may the grace of God work with thee to make thee seek, for thou shalt find.

You plead for protection from the evil one. The salvation which is God’s delivereth from the power of sin and from the dominion of the devil. When salvation comes, it delivers the man from that bondage. The Lord is your light and your salvation; in Him there is safety, for His honour is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. That is the jewel of the crown of salvation, it is irreversible.

You struggle with decision-making, provision, work, and even the sermon. Remember, it is God’s salvation from first to last; His wisdom devised it, His power secures it. Cast your care on Him who guides the ends of the earth. And as for the pulpit struggle, preach over and over again the plain Gospel of salvation by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus. However feebly you preach, you have set before them enough for their salvation, if they are willing and obedient. What more can you do? You can bring the horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.

Rejoice in this salvation, for it is a Divine salvation, a Godlike salvation, both just and gracious. It is a rich salvation, full of grace, devised by infinite love. Christ Himself is the salvation of God. And as you have prayed for all in need, so labour also to bring them to hear the word, for faith cometh by hearing. I have seen it, two or three boys gathered round another to seek that boy’s salvation, praying as earnestly as their parents could have done. The Lord bless thee and keep thee, and give thee to see the salvation of God.
