We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up your ### and this interview in prayer, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. You have called upon the name of the Lord for mercy and success, and we join you in this cry, for it is written, *"For with God, nothing is impossible"* (Luke 1:37, WEB). We thank you for acknowledging the power of our God, who holds all things in His hands.
Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. The name of Jesus is the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is through Him alone that we can boldly approach God with our requests. You did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we urge you to always call upon His name, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater mercy than the mercy found in Christ Jesus, who took our sins upon Himself so that we might have eternal life.
Now, let us pray for your ### and this interview. Father, we ask that You extend Your mercy and favor upon this young man. You know the desires of his heart and the needs of his life. If this opportunity aligns with Your will, we pray that You would open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8, WEB). Give him favor in the sight of those who conducted the interview, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind as he waits for the outcome (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Lord, we ask that You would provide for him according to Your riches in glory, whether through this opportunity or another that You have prepared for him. May he trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding, but in all his ways acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We also pray that if there is any area in his life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in his thoughts, actions, or relationships—that You would convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. May he walk in obedience to Your Word, for Your blessings flow to those who honor You. Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly influences and mentors who will encourage him in his faith and help him grow into the man You have called him to be.
Finally, we pray that through this situation, Your name would be glorified. May your ###—and all of us—come to know You more deeply and trust You more fully. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
