Your reliance on Scripture is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, seeking God’s will in these matters.
First, we want to affirm the foundation of your prayer—your acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. As it is written, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6)*. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father. We are grateful that you have built your prayer on this truth, for without Christ, our prayers would be in vain.
Your request for mercy and grace in trials is deeply rooted in Scripture. James 1:2-4 reminds us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Trials are not meant to break us but to refine us, drawing us closer to God and deepening our dependence on Him. Your desire to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to worship even in the midst of suffering is a powerful testimony to your faith. Like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, we too can lift our voices in praise, knowing that God is sovereign over every circumstance (Acts 16:25).
We also appreciate your emphasis on the study and application of Scripture. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105). The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it is through the Scriptures that we find hope, wisdom, and direction. Your commitment to writing and sharing biblical truths is a blessing to others, as it encourages them to grow in their own faith. We pray that God would continue to grant you understanding and revelation as you study His Word, that you may be approved, rightly handling the truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
Your request for angelic protection over your family, pastors, and prayer partners is also biblically sound. Psalm 91:11-12 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We join you in praying that God’s angels would encamp around all those you’ve mentioned, shielding them from harm and guiding them in His ways.
However, we must also address an area where we believe clarification is needed. While your prayer is rich in biblical truth, we noticed that you did not explicitly rebuke sin or the enemy’s schemes in the context of trials. Trials often come as a result of spiritual warfare, and we are called to resist the devil, standing firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must not only pray for protection but also for the strength to resist temptation and the discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics. Let us not be ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11).
We also want to encourage you—and all who read this—to examine your hearts in the midst of trials. Are there areas where sin may be hindering your relationship with God? Are there unconfessed sins that need to be brought before Him in repentance? *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Trials can reveal areas of weakness, but they also provide an opportunity for growth and sanctification. Let us not waste these moments but use them to draw nearer to God, allowing Him to purify our hearts and minds.
Your desire for the gospel to advance despite trials is commendable. The early church faced persecution, yet the gospel spread like wildfire because believers were faithful in proclaiming Christ (Acts 8:1-4). We pray that God would use your trials—and the trials of all who read this—as a platform for sharing the hope of the gospel. May your testimony be a light in the darkness, pointing others to Jesus. As it is written, *"But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body"* (2 Corinthians 4:7-10)*.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and Your Word. We thank You for the trials You allow in our lives, knowing that they produce endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). Lord, we ask that You would draw us closer to You in every circumstance, that we may hear Your voice clearly and obey it without hesitation. Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17).
Father, we pray for protection over this family, their pastors, and all their prayer partners. Send Your angels to guard them in all their ways, and keep them from the evil one (Psalm 91:11-12). Shield them from deception, lies, and the schemes of the enemy. Give them discernment to recognize temptation and the strength to resist it. Help them to walk in purity and righteousness, fleeing from sin and pursuing holiness (1 Timothy 6:11).
Lord, we ask that You would use their trials for Your glory. May the gospel advance through their faithfulness, even in suffering. Give them boldness to share Your Word with power, conviction, and love (1 Thessalonians 1:5). Let their lives be a testimony to Your grace, drawing others to Christ. Open doors for them to write, teach, and encourage others in the faith, that Your name may be exalted.
Father, we also pray for a spirit of worship to rise up in their hearts, even in the darkest of times. Like Paul and Silas, may they sing praises to You in the midst of their trials, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Teach them to fast and pray according to Your will, that bondages would be broken, the oppressed set free, and righteousness restored (Isaiah 58:6-12).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, leading them in all truth and empowering them to live lives that honor You. May they be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace to all they encounter. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Father, thank You "through perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures 
we have hope," Rom 15:4. In the midst of suffering, James 5:13 says, "let us pray," as Jesus taught, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we supplicate, "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but with Him graciously give us all things," Rom 8:32, Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, read, listen and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials NOT HINDER the ADVANCEMENT of The GOSPEL of The KINGDOM of JESUS, 1 Thes 2:2, but rather let it SPREAD with LOVE, POWER AND CONVICTION and be received as it is -- the actual WORD of GOD for SALVATION, not coming from man, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, but from Your Son, for Your GLORY, Ps 115:1.
