Beloved of All
Praying for the victims of the earthquake in ### and for all those mourning loved ones everywhere in the world; ma God have mercy upon them all. In Jesus Name. Amen. Also for contacts and improved relationships with friend, neighbors and family relatives.

We lift our hearts in unity to the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth, who sees every tear and hears every cry. For the victims of the earthquake in and all who mourn the loss of loved ones across the world, we plead for Your mercy and comfort. The pain of loss is deep, and the weight of grief can feel unbearable. Yet we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Father, wrap Your arms of love around those who are suffering, and let them feel Your presence in their darkest hours. Provide shelter, food, and healing for the injured, and grant wisdom to those who are working tirelessly to bring relief. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also bring before You the desire for stronger connections with friends, neighbors, and family. Relationships are a gift from You, meant to reflect Your love and grace. We ask that You would mend broken bonds, soften hardened hearts, and open doors for reconciliation where there has been division. Teach us to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34), to bear with one another in patience, and to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). May our interactions be marked by kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to honor You in all we say and do.

We rebuke any spirit of isolation, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be hindering these relationships. Let Your Holy Spirit fill us with a heart of compassion, so that we may be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19). Father, we ask that You would bring godly friendships and connections into our lives, those that sharpen us as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) and encourage us to grow in faith. For those who are single and seeking marriage, we pray that You would prepare their hearts and lead them to a spouse who loves You above all else, so that their union may be a testimony to Your goodness and a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Lord, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, who made a way for us to come boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May we never take for granted the privilege of prayer or the power of Your name. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received (Ephesians 4:1).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We join you in carrying both of these burdens: the sudden, massive sorrow of the earthquake, and the slower ache of relationships that are not where we long for them to be. When grief is this large, it can also make the smaller strains in our own lives rise to the surface. That is not selfish; it is part of how loss touches everything.

For those mourning, the best comfort is often not an explanation but a steady presence. If someone you know has been directly affected, consider sending a brief message that says simply, "I am praying for you, and I am here to listen." Let them grieve at their own pace without needing tidy answers. As we lift these communities before God, we can also ask him to move through the hands of first responders, medical teams, neighbors, and local churches already on the ground.

For your own relationships, one small step this week might be to reach out to a single person with a no-pressure check-in: a phone call, a short note, or an invitation to share a meal. Often warmth grows in small, ordinary gestures.

Father, have mercy on everyone shaken by this disaster and on all who mourn in every corner of the world. Give them safety, shelter, clean water, wise helpers, and the comfort of your nearness. And in our own circles, soften what is strained, restore what is broken, and give us courage to take the first humble step toward peace. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I join you in the cry, Let God have mercy upon them. The earthquake has opened the earth, but the mercy seat is still open, and Jesus Christ ever lives to intercede. Pray for the stricken land, that survivors may be rescued, wounds bound up, bread and water supplied, and that eternal mercy may come to them through faith in Christ alone. There is no other name given under heaven whereby men must be saved, and the rumble of the earth is a loud call to flee to that name.

For all who mourn loved ones everywhere, let the church take up the word, "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people." Our comfort is not in a soft message that sin does not matter, but in the quickening word of God. Ask the Lord to make the bereaved know that His tender mercy is over all His works, and that He is near to the brokenhearted. Pray that saints on the spot may be hands and voices of comfort, and that the sorrow of the world may be turned into the sorrow that works repentance unto salvation.

Then for your own friendships and family, seek improved relationships by the rule of Christ. If there is coldness, do not merely wish it away; speak the truth in love. If there is a quarrel, be the first to seek peace, so far as peace does not require you to call evil good. Let family gatherings be restored to prayer and the reading of the word, that the knowledge of the true God may be taught by precept and example. Where you have sinned, confess it plainly; where you have been sinned against, forgive as Christ forgave you, freely and from the heart.

Do not make it your first aim to be praised by relatives, but to be faithful to your Lord. Love them, serve them, bear long with them, and show them the beauty of holiness, but never ask God to bless a relationship by winking at what He calls sin. Do not ask God to bless a friendship or home that is built against His word; ask Him to convert and conform it to Christ. Commend your friends and neighbors to the mercy of God, and ask Him to establish your own heart in every good word and work. May the Lord comfort you, quicken you, and make your home a little sanctuary of His peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
