Please pray for my ### who has serious mental health problems. Pray that her mind will be fully restored and that I won't be fearful anymore. I really need a miracle. Thank you.

We have heard your cry for your loved one who is suffering with serious mental health problems and we are standing with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus name asking for a miracle of restoration and for peace to replace your fear.

We know how heavy this burden is and how fear can overwhelm your heart when you watch someone you love struggle in their mind. God sees both of you and He cares deeply about the healing of the mind and the heart. His word reminds us that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3. We cling to the promise that nothing is too hard for Him and that He is able to restore what feels broken beyond repair.

We also hear your honest confession that you are fearful and we want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about fear. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Fear is not from the Lord, and we rebuke that spirit of fear that has tried to take hold of you. God says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He also invites us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To come to God for healing and for peace we come through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him today.

We now pray together for you and your loved one.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this precious loved one to You who is suffering in her mind and we ask for Your healing touch upon her. Lord, restore her mind fully, renew her thoughts, bring clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is turmoil, and wholeness where there is brokenness. We speak against every oppression and affliction of the enemy and ask that You guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also lift up the one who loves her and is carrying fear. Father, take away that fear and fill this heart with Your perfect peace, Your power and Your love. Help us to trust You for a miracle and to rest in Your goodness even as we wait. Strengthen this family, surround them with godly support and wisdom, and guide them to the help they need while You work Your healing. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this restoration. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing this need before the Lord daily, to stay rooted in His word, and to seek wise and godly counsel and appropriate care for your loved one as you trust God for healing. He is faithful and He hears our prayers. We are continuing to pray with you for complete restoration and for His perfect peace to guard your heart.

We have been thinking of you since we read your request. Watching someone you love struggle so deeply with her mind is exhausting, and it makes sense that fear has settled in alongside your love. Wanting a miracle is an honest and faithful cry, and we are bringing that cry to the Lord with you.

It is a lot to carry alone. If she is already receiving care, staying closely connected with her doctors or counselors can help you not have to hold every worry by yourself. If she is not yet connected to care, we gently encourage reaching out to a trusted medical or mental health professional alongside prayer. And as you watch over her, please also watch over your own rest and support. Having one or two steady people you can talk to honestly about how you are doing makes a real difference over time.

We are also praying for you, that the fear that has grown would ease and be replaced by steadier peace day by day as you entrust her to God's care.

Father, we lift this loved one to You and ask for Your healing presence with her mind, for wisdom for those caring for her, and for comfort and courage for the one who loves her. Hold them both close and lead them step by step. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for a miracle has been heard, and you have done well to bring this heavy burden to the Lord. To see one so dear to you afflicted in mind is a great sorrow, and to carry fear in your own heart besides is a double weight. Yet there is help, hope, and health even for the most troubled mind, for the power of Jesus knows no limit.

We serve a God of perfect restoration. He has promised to take away the heart of stone and to write His law upon the heart of flesh, and to put His fear within us so that we shall be at last as though He had never cast us aside. What sin and affliction have stained or broken, He can wash and make white again. Though the mind seems deeply clouded and the case appears evil and hard, there is no stench of sin or depth of brokenness that His mercy cannot cleanse. Only He can work this mighty miracle of mercy, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it, for the power to save and to heal does not lie in the person who suffers, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself.

And to your own fear the Lord speaks very tenderly. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Again and again He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob. It is not merely a preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. We must labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we doubt the Eternal and distrust the Omnipotent whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. If we have trusted His promised strength, we may take His promise to remove our fear, Fear not, for I will help you.

Consider the miracles of our Lord and be not afraid, whatever your present trouble may be. Christ is grand in emergencies. A Christian is a miracle, a mass of miracles, and when we get to Heaven we shall be a miracle of miracles. Only trust in His eternal power and Godhead and there is nothing between here and Heaven that need give you any fear.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this dear one whose mind is so deeply afflicted. You see her trouble and You know our weakness to help. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her. Restore her mind fully, we beseech You, and bring her into perfect soundness and peace. Take away all confusion and distress and give her a calm and whole mind to know Your love. And Lord, look upon the one who loves her and now trembles with fear. Speak Your own word to this fearful heart, Fear not, for I will help you. Remove fear by Your promise and give trust in Your promised strength. Show that You are alive, our familiar Friend, near to help in this emergency. Work, we pray, the miracle that is needed, for Your glory and for the comfort of these Your children. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden and for asking for prayer. I am praying with you for your loved one and for you in this heavy and fearful time.

Scripture says that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. That sound mind is a healthy and sober state of the soul, and it is what I am asking God to restore and strengthen in your loved one and to give to you as you walk beside her. Fear can overwhelm us when we love someone who is suffering, but God meets fear not with shame but with His own power and love, to steady us and to sober our minds when trouble comes.

I am praying that God, who is able to heal both in a moment and over time, will bring restoration to her mind. We see in the Gospels that when Jesus touched Peter's mother in law, He not only quenched the fever but gave her back perfect health at once, when normally a person would need much time to recover. He is still able to do such a miracle today. At the same time, we know that God often works through time, through care, through physicians and counselors, and through the steady practice of virtue and love for Him. Miracles are not for display, and they help us only when we receive them with sober faith, so I am praying not only for a miracle if it is His will, but for daily grace, wisdom for those caring for her, and a growing love for God that casts out sin and fear and brings peace.

Let me pray for you both now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one who is suffering in her mind and the one who loves her and is afraid. Have mercy and bring healing. Touch her mind and restore it to wholeness and soundness. Quiet what is troubled, clear what is confused, and give her rest and stability. Give wisdom to all who are helping her, and use every good means for her recovery. And for the one who is fearful, take away the spirit of fear and fill that heart with Your power and love and sound mind. Help them to trust You day by day, to cast all care on You, and to find peace in Your presence even while waiting for Your answer. Do what only You can do, and be glorified in this need. Amen.

Please continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, stay close to faithful believers who can support you both, and do not hesitate to seek good medical and pastoral help as you continue to look to Christ for hope and healing. I will keep praying for you.
