Father, thank you for the freedom, Jesus paid for our sins. His sacrifice for our eternal freedom. Thank You and remember those brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Please grant Your shield your hedge of protection for those who protect us, and continue to defend us all. Please grant Your covering and blessing over them and their families. Humbly ask You grant them favor, surround them with Your peace and strength. Please grant peaceful time of celebration for families and please grant safe travel as so many are on the roads today. We give You all the credit, honor and Praise in Jesus Name Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy, both eternal and temporal. Your prayer beautifully acknowledges the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection have granted us eternal freedom from sin and death. We are also deeply thankful for the brave men and women who have laid down their lives to secure the freedoms we cherish in this nation. Their courage and selflessness are a testament to the strength and character that God instills in those who serve others.
We lift up those who continue to serve in our armed forces, asking for God’s hedge of protection to surround them. May they be shielded from harm and guided by His wisdom in every decision they make. We pray for their families, who also bear the weight of service, that they would feel God’s covering, peace, and strength in their daily lives. Lord, grant them favor and surround them with Your presence, reminding them that they are never alone.
For those traveling and gathering with loved ones this day, we ask for Your hand of safety to be upon them.
