FROM: Cherrelle McKinnies/Teacher Specialist

SUBJECT: DIRECTIVE TO ATTEND CONFERENCE FOR THE RECORD
You are directed to attend a Conference for the Record scheduled to take place Virtually using Microsoft Teams on April 3, 2020, at 1:00PM, to discuss your performance and future employment with the Houston Independent School District.
You may have a representative of your choosing accompany you to this conference. The purpose of this communication is to give you advanced notice so that you can make any necessary arrangement. If you intend to bring an attorney to represent you at the conference, please let me know as soon as possible. If you do bring an attorney to the meeting without notifying me prior to the meeting, the Administration may reschedule the Conference for the Record.
Should you fail to appear at this conference or make necessary arrangements with me to reschedule prior to the above-referenced date and time, I will proceed with the appropriate administrative action.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Prayer Request: This entire school year 2019-2020 the administration has falsified observations and walk-throughs on my instructional abilities as a Second Grade teacher. I have written several rebuttals and spoken to their supervisor with no relief. I was put on a "Growth Plan" in their effort to terminate me.
This is my 28-year in education. I have plans to retire July 2020, but had to put in 1 more year (90 days of service this school year). So I took this new teaching position to get the year of service needed to retire.
I have plans to attend KCBC Kenneth Copeland Bible College in August 2020.
I need God's divine intervention and direction. They will ask me to resign, or take nonrenewal, before the end of the school.
With the Covid19 situation all teachers are working from home. I have done everything asked of me in order to teach my students from home.
If terminated, I will need income until I can officially retire in July. Pray that I will qualify for unemployment checks, even if HISD terminates my job on April 3, 2020.
God is my SOURCE, and I know that He placed me at that school for my students. I trust God to open and close doors. I trust God will guide me through this meeting, too. Ultimately, God's will be done.
Thank you!
