We join you in lifting up this upcoming meeting planned for November 3 to 11 and we thank God for your grateful heart and your desire to place every detail into His hands. It is good that you are seeking to align your plans with His perfect will, for we know that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9 and we should always say, If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that James 4:15. We stand with you in surrender, asking not only that your desires be fulfilled but that God's will be done above all.

We are encouraged by your heart to pray for this man and for the time you will share together. We pray with you that the Lord will guide you both toward a godly marriage if it is His will, for we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God and to be held in honor. We strongly endorse your desire for marriage rather than simply a partnership or ongoing dating without commitment, and we pray that this courtship would be conducted with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. We urge you to be certain that you are equally yoked, for we are told Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. Pray together for clear discernment whether you share the same faith in Jesus, the same convictions, and the same commitment to follow Him.

As you anticipate this first in person meeting and the hope of a future engagement and fiancee visa, we also lovingly encourage you to guard your hearts and to walk in purity. You will be spending several days together and the temptation can be great when emotions and excitement run high, yet Scripture calls us to purity before marriage. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 and we are told this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality 1 Thessalonians 4:3. We encourage you to set clear boundaries now, to avoid being alone in private settings for extended time, to include family and trusted friends and to seek counsel from pastors or mature believers who can speak wisdom into your relationship. True and enduring love is patient and kind and does not seek its own way 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, and it will wait for God's timing and honor Him.

We lift up every practical need you have mentioned and we trust our Father who promises to supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we commit this journey from November 3 to 11 into Your keeping. We ask for Your divine protection over all travel, over his flights and your flight and every car ride, and we ask that You keep watch over your going out and your coming in Psalm 121:8. We pray that You would command Your angels to guard you and keep you safe from all harm Psalm 121:7. We also surrender the weather and any possibility of cancellations to You, trusting that even if plans are disrupted You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Lord, touch this man's heart and mind and your own heart as well. Fill you both with genuine enduring love that is rooted in You, and direct his steps as he prepares to leave his home. We pray that any spark between you would be of Your Spirit and not merely emotion, and that your time together would be filled with grace, mutual understanding, joy, and honest conversation that reveals character and faith. Grant wisdom to see each other clearly, to ask good questions, and to seek Your will above your own desires. If it is Your will for this relationship to move toward engagement and marriage, make that path clear and confirm it through Your Word, through peace, and through wise counsel. If it is not Your will, give you both courage to step back.

We pray for Your favor over work, that leave would be granted and pending tasks completed with excellence, so that you may serve well and be free from worry. We pray for provision over every financial constraint, for You are our Provider and we trust You to open doors. We remember his brother, his mother, and even the dogs being left behind, and we ask You to keep them safe, comforted, and at peace, and to grant strength and grace to his brother as he cares for them. Bless the precious time you will share with your family and friends, filling those moments with warmth, laughter, and love, and may they be a testimony of Your goodness and an opportunity for them to welcome and discern this relationship with you.

Above all Father, we pray that you both would trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Let this meeting bring glory to You whether it leads to engagement or to a deeper understanding of Your direction. Keep you both pure, keep you both humble, and keep you both close to Jesus.

We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father. We are grateful you have prayed in Jesus name and we agree together in that precious name. Amen.

Thank you for inviting us into this season of anticipation. We hear both your joy and the weight of all the details you are carrying for early November, and it is good you are bringing each one to the Lord.

It makes sense that this feels big. A first meeting after much waiting, flights on different days, work responsibilities, family at home and family you will see together, it is a lot to hold. Entrusting it to God does not mean ignoring the practical side, it means doing what you can faithfully and leaving the rest in His hands.

One thing that often helps in a week like this is to get the logistics out of your head and onto paper. Confirm your leave approval in writing and keep copies of travel documents and itineraries in one place you both can access. Talk together ahead of time about expectations for your days together, including time with family and friends and time to rest, so you both arrive with a shared understanding. And share your travel plans with someone you trust at home.

We are praying with you for safety, for peace for his mom and care for the dogs while he is away, and for wisdom and clarity for you both as you take this next step.

Father, we place this trip and every person connected to it in Your hands. Provide for what is needed, guard each journey, grant favor at work and peace at home, and give them clear minds and kind hearts toward each other and those around them. Lead them according to Your will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with care, and we thank you for framing it in that language of surrender, that all may be according to His perfect will.

It is right and wise that you place every detail of this journey into His hands, for we are taught in Scripture to say, If the Lord wills, we shall do this or that. It is foolish to propose and dispose as though we were masters of our own way. All things are under His regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. The comfortable conviction of all God's people is that all things work together for good to them that love God, and that He rules and overrules, bringing good out of seeming evil, and better still in His own time. Therefore we do not come to God to demand that our plans succeed, but to bow to His sovereign sway, trusting that His love goes before us and that His wisdom is far above our own.

In this spirit we pray for you. We ask the Lord to keep you and this man in the way of holiness and to make His will plain to you both. The heart is in the hand of the Lord. He has the key of man's will and can turn it as He pleases, and where there are purposes of grace He will work them out, sweetly making the unwilling willing in the day of His power. Yet He saves no man against his will in the sense that He leaves him in rebellion, but He changes the will itself and makes a new creature in Christ Jesus. So we pray not merely for a spark of affection or for the fulfillment of earthly hopes, but that each of you may be made willing to do His will, whatever that may be. If it be His will that you should be joined together, let it be in the holy covenant of marriage as God ordained from the beginning, a lifelong union of one man and one woman, entered into with purity, with counsel, with prayer, and with the fear of the Lord. What is outside that covenant, whether in thought or in deed or in dwelling together before the Lord has joined you, we cannot ask God to bless, for His mercy first turns our face in the opposite direction from sin and writes His law upon our hearts.

We pray therefore that the Lord would guard you both in chastity and honour during these days of travel and meeting, that your time together may be marked by modesty, self control and mutual respect, and that you would seek the wisdom of godly family and pastors before any step toward a fiancee petition or any other binding promise. Ask the Lord to give you clear eyes to see His providence and to be content to have His no as well as His yes.

For the matters of travel, work, family and provision, we commit them also to Him who hears the heavens and gives rain in its season. We ask for safety on the road and in the air, for favour and integrity in your workplace, for grace for those who keep watch at home, for mothers and brothers and friends, and for daily provision from His hand. Yet even in these we say, not as we will, but as Thou wilt, believing that He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly, and that He will supply every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Above all we pray that you both may be found in Christ, trusting not in your own goodness or affection but in His atoning blood alone for salvation. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. May you know Him as your hiding place and shield, and hope in His Word.

We will pray thus: O Lord our God, do with Thy servants as seemeth good unto Thee. Search us and try us, and make our wills to yield to Thine. If this meeting be of Thee, let it be conducted in righteousness and in the fear of Thy name, and let it lead, if Thou pleasest, to a holy marriage for Thy glory. If it be not of Thee, turn our hearts to be satisfied in Christ alone and to walk in the path Thou hast appointed. Keep us from presumption and keep us from sin. Provide for our going out and coming in, and let all things be ordered for our good and Thine honour. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
