Medication effectiveness

Please pray that the prescribed medication and ones to come will be effective for my son’s mental illness which includes uncontrollable anger, impatience and aggression in Jesus name I pray. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his battle with mental illness. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and professionals caring for him, granting them wisdom and discernment as they prescribe medications. Lord, we pray that the treatments would be effective in calming the storms within him—his anger, impatience, and aggression. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also recognize that true healing comes from You, Lord. While we trust in the medical care he is receiving, we ask that You would work in ways that only You can—bringing restoration to his mind, emotions, and spirit. Help him to lean on You in his struggles, to cast his anxieties upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with godly counsel, support, and encouragement from those who will point him to You.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be fueling his struggles. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for him are for good, not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen his faith and help him to see himself through Your eyes—loved, valued, and capable of overcoming through Christ who strengthens him (Philippians 4:13).

We pray for your presence to be tangible in his life, Lord. May he experience Your love in a way that brings comfort, hope, and transformation. And we pray for you to give wisdom and strength to his family as they walk this journey with him. Help them to respond with patience, grace, and love, even in the most challenging moments.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We know how deeply you long to see peace, patience, and gentleness restored in him, and we join you in asking God to move mightily in his life.
