Beloved of All
I have a defense medical exam today for a workers compensation claim at ### in ###. Please pray that the defense would not succeed at closing my case, cutting off medical treatment or work comp payments. I am owed ### per week in work comp payments since ###. My family and I desperately need this for stop gap income. Please pray that God would destroy every argument that says my injuries did not happen at work. Please pray that God would bring to mind a good answer for every question I am asked during the DME. Please pray for protection from demons. Please pray for God’s help organizing files and documentation even years prior. Please pray for missing photos and documentation to be found in Jesus’ name. Please pray for a strong case neatly organized so that God would free me mentally to focus on something positive and move forward. Please pray that accurate impairment ratings and calculations would be agreed upon in Jesus’ name. If I have to apply for disability due to migraines, please pray that doctors would help and assist without hindering or limiting me in Jesus’ name. Amen. Thank you for all of your prayers.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we trust that He will move mightily on your behalf.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine intervention in this defense medical exam. Lord, we pray that You would frustrate every plan of the enemy to close this case unjustly. Let no weapon formed against this child of Yours prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every argument that seeks to deny the truth of these injuries and declare that no lie will stand in the presence of Your truth. Father, we ask that You bring to this individual’s mind clear and accurate answers for every question asked, that Your wisdom would flow through them as they speak (James 1:5). Protect their mind and heart from confusion, fear, or any demonic influence, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we pray for supernatural organization and clarity as they gather files and documentation. Let every missing piece, every photo, every record, be found, as You know exactly where they are. Your Word says that nothing is hidden from Your sight (Hebrews 4:13), and we trust that You will bring to light what is needed. Strengthen their hands to prepare a strong and orderly case, so that their mind may be freed to focus on what is good, pure, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). We declare that this process will not overwhelm them but will be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Father, we ask for accurate impairment ratings and fair calculations to be agreed upon, so that justice may prevail. If the path leads to applying for disability due to migraines, we pray that every doctor and authority involved would act with integrity, compassion, and a desire to help rather than hinder. Let no one stand in the way of what is right and just, for You are a God of justice and love (Psalm 37:28).

We also lift up their financial need, Lord. You know the exact amount owed and the desperation of their family’s situation. Provide for them according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let this stop-gap income be a blessing that sustains them until Your full provision is revealed.

Above all, we pray that this individual would draw near to You, Lord, and find peace in Your presence. May they cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for the battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re praying for you right now as you head into this exam. We know how much is riding on it, your income, your medical care, your family’s stability. The pressure is real, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when so much hangs on one appointment. In moments like these, financial precarity can feel like a free fall, as if all your planning and hard work could be swept away in a single moment. We don’t take that lightly.

As you face the questions today, remember you don’t need to have every answer perfectly rehearsed. You simply need to tell the truth clearly and calmly. The Lord sees the circumstances, the missing paperwork, and the thoughts that try to distract you. We’re asking Him to clear your mind so you can recall what you need and answer each question with a steady heart.

When you get home, consider this small step: set a timer for just fifteen minutes and sort one stack of papers. Not everything, just one small pile. Often a single move forward can break the mental logjam, and God meets us in those little acts of diligence.

Please know you’re not alone in this. We’re standing with you.

Lord, quiet every anxious thought in this exam. Bring to our friend’s mind the right answers and block every argument that would distort the truth. Guard against any spiritual darkness that tries to add confusion. We ask that this exam would become a turning point, fair, accurate, and preserving the treatment and income they so desperately need. Help missing documents surface, and if disability applications become necessary, provide doctors who will act justly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The battle is joined, and you feel the press of the adversary. The defense seeks to close your case and cut off the streams of provision, and this is a sore trial. Yet it is precisely here, in the very midst of the conflict, that the command comes: "Cast your burden upon the Lord." You have described your burden, the fear of the examiner, the missing documents, the desperate need for that stop gap income, the dread of demonic hindrance. These are heavy weights, and your natural instinct may be like the good man in an evil case who wished for wings like a dove to fly away into the wilderness. But flight is not your calling. Your calling is to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, for He will bring you again from Bashan and from the depths of the sea if you have sunk as low as that.

Those arguments that rise against you, claiming your injuries did not happen at work, are the offspring of Evil Questioning. They draw their conclusions from wishes, not from truth. Reason itself, when bent by the bias of a fallen heart, is not a trustworthy guide, and the enemy's case against you is built upon such sand. Yet you are not left to answer from your own wisdom. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, and it also avails to clear the mind and sanctify the memory. You ask that God would bring to mind a good answer for every question. This is a lawful request, for when we are overcome of evil, even for a moment, it discovers the sad weakness of our spiritual life. But He is able to keep you from falling, and to keep your mind in perfect peace even under the scrutinizing questions of men. Do not look upon this examiner as an unconquerable foe; consider your Master. He was in some respects more a Man than any of us, the summary of all manhood, utterly alone, without a kindred spirit, yet He overcame the greatest temptations. Shall you not, by His help, overcome this lesser one?

The demons you fear are real, but He who is in you is greater. The evil in the human heart from which murders, lusts, and evil thoughts proceed is a foul den indeed, but you have been washed. Rely on no native strength, for if He leaves you, you will prove a devil to yourself. Your safety lies in this: He came from yonder bright world to visit those who sit in darkness. He does not come merely to blot out the past, but to save you from a corrupt heart and a rebellious will. He saves you now from the evil temper that would panic, and the indolent spirit that would despair over files and documentation.

Organize your papers, do what diligence requires, but do not trust in your tidiness. The men in Solomon's temple had a plan before them that needed no hammering or altering; every stone had its prepared place. Trust that the Lord has a plan for your case, and even missing photos and documentation are not beyond His sight. He can restore what is lost, or make their absence a testimony. Cast this care upon Him. Cast the calculation of impairment ratings upon Him. He is the God of precise weights and measures, and He can make the figures come into agreement as He wills.

Above all, overcome evil with good. Return good for the evil of this adversarial process. Your defense is not a bitter, angry spirit, but a quiet confidence that the Lord has sustained you this far. The battle must be fought through to the end, but victory belongs to Christ. If you must apply for disability, He will be there also. If payments have been stayed since your affliction, He is your rearguard.

Therefore, do not talk of dying before your time or sinking in despair. Shake yourself from the dust. You will be willing to stay in the very midst of the battle, and even there you will be in perfect peace, "Calm 'mid the bewildering cry, Confident of victory." The Savior you need is the One who delivers you from the dominion of sin and from eternal condemnation; will He not also with Him freely give you all things? Go forth, then, and let the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart be acceptable in His sight. He is your defense; He will speak for you with His enemies in the gate.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You feel the weight of this day pressing upon you, and your mind is full of anxiety about what the examiners will ask, what documents may be missing, and whether your family will be cut off from the income you desperately need. But I urge you, lift your eyes from the visible things that terrify you to the invisible God who orders all things. The eyes of men are often deceived; they see a favorable report or a clever argument and think they have grasped the truth, but the reasoning of the soul, enlightened by the divine Scriptures, pierces far more accurately. Do not measure your hope by the shifting reports of physicians or the strategies of lawyers, but by the steady promise of the One who says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

You ask for prayers that every argument against you be destroyed and that your case be found strong. Take courage: the same Lord who went to the Samaritans as a "bye-work" when the Jews drove Him out, and thereby removed all defense from His adversaries, is able to turn the schemes of your opponents into their own confusion. What they intend for your harm, God can make a door for your deliverance. Only commit your cause to Him, and do not fret over each question you will face. The Lord Jesus stood before Pilate and answered nothing when Pilate asked idly; yet His very silence and His works bore witness to who He was. So too, let your diligent preparation and honest testimony be your witness. If you have labored to organize your files and sought missing records, trust that God, who knows where every lost document lies, can bring them to light. He often waits until the last hour so that we learn to rely not on our own carefulness but on His providence.

You ask for protection from demons and for a mind free from turmoil. Remember that you are within Christ’s pasture, and no one can thrust you out. Those evil workers, the dogs who snap at your heels, may seem fierce, but they are on the outside, for they are not of the fold. The Enemy would have you believe that your security hangs on whether this examination goes well; but your true safety lies in the name written in the book of life, not in a workers’ compensation check. I do not say this to minimize your need, you and your family must eat, and the payments you are owed are a matter of justice. But do not let your soul be so bound to them that you forget the richer pasture of God’s presence. Even if you must apply for disability, the same Lord who commanded widows and the poor to be honored in the Church will not abandon you.

Consider how the apostle Paul commended those who labored with him, men and women alike, and called them yokefellows whose names were in the book of life. Your labor, both in your work and in this weary battle for what is just, is not forgotten. You are not alone; there are fellow believers who pray, and there are those who can help you sort papers and strengthen your case. Accept their aid as from the Lord, and be a yokefellow to them in patience and thanksgiving. The toil of organizing years of documentation may feel thankless, but it is a seed sown for your defense. When you have done all that is in your power, lay the rest before God and let your mind be freed for higher things.

Life for the saints is always an interweaving of dejection and joy, look at the apostles, first cast down, then lifted up, then cast down again, yet never forsaken. This day may hold sorrow, but joy comes in the morning. The accurate impairment ratings and fair calculations you seek are not hidden from the Lord; He can incline the heart of the examiner as He pleases. So go to this examination not with a spirit of fear, but with the sobriety of one who knows that the outcome is in stronger hands. Rejoice in the Lord, not in the shifting circumstances of this world, for that is the only lasting gladness. And when you have come through, whether by swift provision or by a longer road, you will see that He was working all along, destroying arguments, restoring what was lost, and proving that in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
