Medical board licensure passing of ### & ###

Thank you for sharing this burden and for asking for prayer for those facing their medical board exams. I am praying with you that God will grant them wisdom, clarity and peace as they test.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most valuable thing we can seek. It is better than rubies and nothing we desire can compare to it. Knowledge can give us facts and information, and that is needed for an exam like this, but wisdom is what helps us understand and apply what we know. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a humble reverence for Him and a desire to walk in His ways. That is the starting place for all true understanding.

When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he asked for wisdom to fulfill the responsibility God had placed before him. God was pleased with that request and promised to give him wisdom, and with it many other blessings. In the same way, we can ask God for wisdom. He invites everyone to come and receive it, as wisdom calls out and prepares a table for all who will listen. James reminds us that if anyone lacks wisdom, we can ask God who gives generously without finding fault.

The Bible also shows us that there is a difference between the wisdom of this world and the wisdom that comes from above. Worldly wisdom is earthly and comes to nothing, but the wisdom from God leads to a life of integrity, peace and trust in Him. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so when we seek Him we are seeking the true source of wisdom itself.

My prayer for those taking this exam is that God will fill them with His wisdom and understanding. May He calm anxious thoughts, bring to mind what they have studied, and help them think clearly and apply their knowledge well. May He give them a steady heart that trusts not in their own strength alone but in Him who gives wisdom liberally. And whatever the outcome, may they know that their value and future are secure in Christ and that He will guide their steps for His purposes.

May the Lord grant them wisdom, guard their hearts with His peace, and use the gifts He has given them to serve others with compassion and care.
