Thank you for sharing your need with us and allowing us to pray with you in this difficult time. We hear the weight of these medical bills and the worry about upcoming surgeries, and we bring your request before the Lord who sees and cares for every part of our lives.

Scripture reminds us that our God is our healer and our provider, and that caring for the body for health is good and right. We pray that He will grant you wisdom and provision as you seek help with insurance and medical costs. This church is meant to be a spiritual surgery where wounds are healed, and we trust the same Lord who heals the soul also has compassion on the needs of the body.

We are praying for you specifically:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace. You know the need for surgeries and the burden of high copays and bills. We ask for Your mercy and provision, that if it is Your will, the application for assistance with medical insurance would be approved. Provide for what is needed for health and healing, guide the hands of doctors and all who will provide care, and grant peace that passes understanding while waiting. Help our friend to rest in Your love, to trust in Your goodness, and to know that You prove our hearts and hear our prayers when we seek You sincerely. Give strength for each day and open the right doors for help and support.

We will continue to keep you in prayer. Please keep us updated, and do not hesitate to reach out to your local church family for practical support and counsel as well. May the Lord comfort you, provide for you, and restore you to health according to His perfect will. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for sharing your need so honestly. Facing the cost of medical bills and copays while also needing surgeries is a very heavy weight to carry, and it is understandable to feel weary under it.

Jesus invites those who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him for rest, and He says His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The heaviest burdens often come from trying to carry everything in our own strength, worrying and striving to hold it all together ourselves. That kind of burden quickly becomes too much to bear. Living to trust and please Him is different, because He is the one who carries us. His way is not meant to crush you but to give you rest even while the need remains.

Scripture tells us to cast our burden upon the Lord and He will sustain us, and to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for you. That is what we do in prayer. We lift what has been weighing on your heart and place it into His hands, looking away from our own weakness to His greatness and power and ability to provide. As you turn it over to Him, He gives confidence and peace.

We are also taught to bear one another's burdens, and in that way fulfill the law of Christ. You are not meant to carry this alone, and we want to stand with you and bring this before the Lord together.

We pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this need before You. You see the medical needs and the surgeries that are required and the financial pressure that feels overwhelming. We ask for Your provision and for favor in the approval for assistance with medical insurance. Please open the right doors and supply what is needed for care. Give wisdom to the doctors and all who will provide treatment, bring healing and strength to the body, and guard the heart and mind with Your peace. Sustain day by day and remind of Your faithful care and nearness. In Jesus name, amen.

We take comfort in the promise of Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We ask the Lord to provide for you, to guide the physicians, and to sustain you with His peace that passes all understanding.
