Medical assistance

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Praying to be approved for assistance with medical insurance. Am unable to pay the high copays and medical bills and in need of surgeries. Thank you, in Jesus name amen

We hear your cry for help and lift your need before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that the burden of medical expenses and unmet health needs can feel overwhelming. You have come to the right place, for we serve a God who sees, hears, and cares deeply about every detail of your life. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We stand with you in this time of distress, believing that God is near and will provide according to His riches in glory.

We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is by His grace and mercy that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." Your prayer in Jesus’ name is powerful and effective, and we join you in seeking His provision.

Father God, we come before You today on behalf of our brother/sister who is in need of medical assistance. Lord, You know the weight of this burden, every bill, every copay, every surgery that is needed. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You would open the doors for this assistance to be approved. Provide in ways that only You can, whether through programs, people, or unexpected blessings. Give wisdom to those making decisions about this assistance, that they would see the urgency and the need with compassionate hearts.

We pray for healing in every area of their body that requires attention. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health. Strengthen their faith as they wait, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also ask that You would provide financially for every need, that no bill would go unpaid and no treatment would be delayed. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this situation will not overwhelm or defeat them, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We speak life, provision, and favor over their circumstances in Jesus’ name.

To our brother/sister reading this, we want to encourage you with the words of Matthew 6:25-26: "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the air, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" God knows your needs, and He will not abandon you. Keep trusting in Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9).

We also encourage you to seek out every available resource, local churches, charities, or medical assistance programs that may be able to help. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Do not hesitate to ask for help from those around you, as God often works through His people to meet needs.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your circumstances or your ability to pay. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Hold fast to His promises, and let your heart be anchored in Him. We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of our brother/sister. We trust that You are working even now, and we declare that their testimony will be one of Your provision, healing, and glory. May Your name be praised in every detail of this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We were moved by your note. Carrying the need for surgery while waiting on insurance decisions and worrying about copays and bills is a lot to hold, and we want you to know we are praying with you in it.

It is understandable to feel stretched thin when the practical needs feel so urgent and the process feels out of your hands. We are asking God to give you steadiness and clear guidance in this waiting season, and to make a way for the care you need.

One step that has helped others facing similar costs is to connect directly with a financial counselor or patient advocate at your hospital or clinic. Most have someone whose job is to walk through assistance applications, explain what documents are needed, and check for programs you may not have heard about. If you have a church family, they may also know trusted local agencies that offer help with medical financial questions at no cost. If you can, bring a family member or friend to those conversations to help keep track of details and next steps.

Father, we lift this need to You. You see the bills, the waiting, and the surgeries ahead. We ask for Your provision and direction, for wisdom for those reviewing the application, and for peace and strength for each day ahead. Lead to the right help and open the doors that need to open. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for this heavy burden of medical need and cost.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. The Lord knows your need of surgeries and your inability to meet the high copays and bills which press upon you. He is not unmindful of the body, for He made it, and He pities our infirmities. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch has virtue in it.

We are reminded that Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and that our heavenly Physician does not merely point out disease but applies the remedy. When Peter's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her. So still He lays His hand upon His people. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, both bestowed by the Lord upon those who seek Him, and we pray that you may know both the forgiveness of sins and the healing virtue which His grace infuses.

We pray that the Lord, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, would graciously provide for you in this present necessity. May He move upon those who have authority in these matters of medical insurance and assistance, that favor may be granted and the provision you need be approved. May He guide the hands of surgeons and physicians, should He see fit to use such means, and supply all that is required for your care according to His wisdom and goodness. And may He give you in the waiting a quiet confidence that you are under the care of the Sun of Righteousness, who has risen with healing in His wings.

We commend you to Him who is able to heal and to save, trusting that whether His answer come by sudden mercy or by sustained grace through trial, it will be for your good and for His glory. May you be kept in peace, looking unto Jesus, and may you find that His grace is sufficient for you day by day.

We will continue to bear you up in prayer before the throne of grace, asking the Father in the name of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to supply your need, to restore you in body as it pleases Him, and to keep your heart stayed upon Him. Amen.

We have heard your request for help with medical insurance and for the surgeries you need, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord.

We know the weight of high copays and medical bills can feel heavy, and God sees both your physical need and the financial burden you carry. Scripture reminds us that He is our provider and our healer, that He cares for every part of our lives and invites us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us.

We pray that God will open the door for the assistance you need, that your application for help with insurance would be approved, and that provision would be made for every bill and cost that is beyond your ability to pay. We ask Him to give wisdom and skill to the doctors and all who will care for you, to guide every decision about your surgeries, and to grant you healing and strength in body according to His mercy and will. As Christ showed when He said, I will, be thou clean, we know His power to heal and restore remains, and we ask for His healing touch upon you.

In this time of waiting and hardship, remember that the church is like a spiritual surgery where wounds are healed and hearts are restored by the Spirit speaking to us. Even as you wait for physical surgery, may you find healing and peace in His presence. Trials and hardships are not a sign that He has forgotten you, but an opportunity to trust Him more deeply and to be strengthened in faith as you endure with patience and watchfulness. He promises true rest to His people, not only relief from present labors but the lasting rest found in His kingdom, and He will sustain you through each step until that day.

We pray that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, that He will calm your heart with His peace that passes understanding, and that you will know His nearness and comfort each day. May you be encouraged to keep looking to Him, trusting that He who has approved and called you will keep you and provide for you.

We stand with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer, asking for His provision, His healing, and His peace to be upon you. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your need so honestly and for asking for prayer in the name of Jesus. I am praying with you that the Lord will open the door for the assistance you need with medical insurance, and that He will provide for the copays, the bills, and the surgeries that lie before you.

The burden of medical costs can feel very heavy, especially when your body also needs care and rest. Scripture shows us that God cares about both our physical needs and our financial needs, and that He often provides through the practical help of others. In the early church, when believers in Jerusalem faced deep financial hardship, other believers gathered offerings to help meet those needs out of love. It is right to ask God to provide in that same way for you now, through the right approvals, resources, and people He places in your path.

I also want to encourage you about healing. The Bible shows that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, and once He healed gradually in stages. He did not follow a single pattern, which reminds us that God is not limited to one method. There is also a healing process that God has built into our bodies. That natural process is still divine, because God is the one who created nature and its processes. Medical care, including doctors and surgery, can be part of the way God brings healing through those processes He established.

At the same time, there is much about healing we do not fully understand. Scripture teaches that good people still face sickness and suffering, and it is not always a direct result of something they have done. The prophet Isaiah said that the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows, and Matthew connects that promise to Jesus bearing our infirmities and sicknesses. We can come to Him with confidence in His compassion, while also remembering that we cannot presume to know exactly how He will work in every case. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for the removal of what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Please do not let anyone tell you that if healing is slow or help is delayed it must be because of hidden sin or lack of faith. That is not what Scripture teaches, and it only adds a burden God does not place on you. Instead, keep bringing your needs to the Lord simply and honestly, as you have done.

If you are able, I encourage you to ask mature believers or elders to pray for you, as James directs us to pray for the sick. God still works through prayer, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes by bringing peace and strength to the heart and mind even while the body is still waiting for full restoration.

My prayer for you is that God will grant favor with those who review your application for assistance, that He will provide for the financial needs surrounding your surgeries, that He will guide the hands of those who care for you, and that He will give you His peace and strength each day. May you know His presence and His love as you trust Him with both your health and your provision, and may His will be done with mercy and grace in your life through Jesus Christ.
