We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for medical assistance. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that You care deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our physical well-being. We stand in the gap for this dear one, asking that You would open the doors for the assistance they so desperately need. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." Lord, we cry out on their behalf, trusting that You hear and will deliver them from this financial burden.
We also recognize, Father, that You are our Provider, Jehovah-Jireh. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You will provide a way where there seems to be no way. Whether through insurance approval, financial assistance programs, or unexpected provision, we ask that You move mightily on their behalf.
Lord, we pray for wisdom for those who are making decisions regarding this request. May they be guided by Your Holy Spirit to act with compassion and justice. Proverbs 2:6-8 tells us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." We ask that You would guard the path of this dear one and lead them to the help they need.
We also lift up the surgeries that are needed. Father, we ask that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff, giving them skill, wisdom, and compassion. We pray for complete healing and restoration, trusting in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
In all of this, Lord, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, as 1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear." We pray that this dear one would rest in Your perfect love, trusting that You are in control.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You would use this situation for Your glory. May this dear one’s testimony of Your provision and healing bring others to know You and trust in Your goodness. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
