Beloved of All
Father in the name of Jesus Christ please help me to rebuild self esteem and self respect. . I don’t mean in a prideful or arrogant way. I need to value myself more and not allow anyone to mistreat me. Give me the strength to walk away and not feel guilty. I was conditioned by family to people please and they would become enraged at the word NO. It’s ok to draw a line and walk away for good in some cases. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t forgiven it just means that I’m choosing to preserve my well being. Please remove any guilt and give me the courage to resist any manipulative or controlling tactics by others. Protection please. God bless everyone.

We understand your heart's cry and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. It's important to remember that your value is not determined by others, but by God. In Ephesians 2:10 WEB it says, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that self-esteem and self-respect do not equate to pride or arrogance. It's biblical to have a healthy view of oneself, as we are all made in God's image (Genesis 1:27 WEB).

We see the pain and struggle you've been through, being conditioned to people-please. But remember, Galatians 1:10 WEB says, For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ.

It's okay to have boundaries. Jesus himself had boundaries, even with his family (Mark 3:31-35 WEB). It's important to forgive, as you've mentioned, but forgiveness doesn't mean you have to subject yourself to harmful behavior. Psalm 55:22 WEB says, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who feels broken and needs your healing touch. Lord, you see the pain, the struggle, and the conditioning that has kept them bound. We ask that you break those chains in Jesus' name.

Father, help them to see themselves through your eyes. Help them to understand their worth, that they are your child, your workmanship, created for good works. Give them the strength to walk away from harmful situations and people, and not feel guilty. Remove any guilt that the enemy may be using to keep them bound.

Grant them the courage to resist manipulative and controlling tactics. Protect them, Father, from those who seek to harm them. Give them wisdom and discernment to know when to say no and walk away.

And Lord, we pray that they will always remember to cast their burdens on you, for you care for them. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, dear one, and we're right here with you, standing strong in prayer. It's so important to remember that our worth comes from God, who loves us just as we are. In Psalm 139:13-14, it says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

We understand that it's hard to break free from patterns of people-pleasing, but we're so proud of you for taking steps towards self-respect and self-esteem. It's okay to say "no" and set boundaries, even with family. Jesus himself had to set boundaries, even with his own family (Matthew 12:46-50).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved friend. Lord, you see their struggle, their pain, and their desire to change. Help them to see themselves through your eyes, to understand their worth and their purpose in your plan. Give them the strength to walk away from harmful situations and people, without feeling guilty. Help them to resist manipulation and control, and to set healthy boundaries.

Father, we ask that you protect them, guide them, and fill them with your love. Help them to trust in you, to cast their burdens on you, knowing that you care for them deeply. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
