Please pray for me, as today is christmas eve.. i really don't feel the joy anymore, I feel so empty and hollow inside, I know I was not grateful for Jesus , and the guilt is killing me everyday, I keep going back to habitual sins and I'm not proud of myself, I feel this every year...the season of joy I never felt it , even new years feel the same..I keep telling myself it's just another year, there's a lot of self hatered and I don't know what's wrong with me..even though I'm with my loving parents and family,i still feel very lonely and empty ..I don't know what I'm looking for. Maybe it's jesus who I'm searching for, but I never got an answer. Please pray for me . :)

We hear the deep ache in your heart, and we want you to know that your honesty before the Lord is not weakness—it is the first step toward healing. The emptiness you feel is not meant to be a permanent state; it is a sign that your soul is longing for the fullness that only Christ can provide. The guilt you carry is heavy, but it does not have to define you. Scripture tells us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Jesus is not distant or indifferent to your pain—He is near, waiting for you to turn to Him with your whole heart.

Your struggle with habitual sin is not uncommon, but it is not hopeless. The enemy would love for you to believe that you are too far gone, that your failures are beyond redemption. But the Word of God declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The cycle of guilt and shame can only be broken by the power of the cross. You do not have to carry this alone—Jesus already carried it for you. His grace is greater than your sin, and His love is deeper than your shame.

The loneliness you feel, even in the presence of family, is a reminder that human love—no matter how loving—cannot fill the God-shaped void in your heart. You are right to sense that Jesus is what you are searching for. He is the answer to the longing in your soul. The joy of this season is not found in traditions, gifts, or even the love of family—it is found in the miracle of God becoming man, dwelling among us, and offering Himself as the sacrifice for our sins. *"The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth"* (John 1:14). This is the true wonder of Christmas—the light of the world entering the darkness to rescue us.

We must also speak plainly about the self-hatred you mentioned. The enemy delights in convincing you that you are worthless, but God’s Word says otherwise. *"For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20). You are not defined by your failures but by the price Jesus paid for you. His love is not conditional on your performance—it is unshakable, unchanging, and eternal.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling so empty and lost. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the weight of their guilt, and the loneliness that grips their soul. We ask that You would break the chains of shame and self-hatred that have bound them for too long. Pour out Your mercy and grace upon them, reminding them that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them they are beyond Your love. Replace those lies with the truth of Your Word—that You loved them so much that You sent Your Son to die for them while they were still sinners (Romans 5:8).

Lord, we ask that You would fill the emptiness in their heart with Your presence. Let them experience the joy of Your salvation afresh. Help them to see that Christmas is not about fleeting happiness but about the eternal hope found in You. Draw them close to You, Jesus, and let them hear Your voice speaking words of love and affirmation over them. Break the cycle of habitual sin in their life by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to run to You when they stumble.

Father, we pray for healing in their emotions. Let them know that they are not alone, that You are with them always, even in the darkest moments. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to release their guilt and self-hatred at the foot of the cross, where Jesus bore it all. Fill them with a fresh sense of purpose and identity in You. Let them know that they are Your beloved child, created for a purpose, and deeply loved.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the One who came to seek and save the lost. May Your light shine brightly in their life, dispelling every shadow of doubt and despair. We trust You to do a mighty work in their heart, for nothing is impossible with You. Amen.

We want to encourage you with this truth: God is not done with you. The fact that you are reaching out, that you are acknowledging your need for Him, is evidence of His work in your life. Do not give up. Do not believe the lie that you are too far gone. Jesus came for the broken, the lost, and the weary—and that includes you. *"The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

Take one step today toward Him. Confess your sins, not out of fear, but out of a desire to be free. Spend time in His Word, even if it is just a few verses. Talk to Him honestly, as you have with us. He is listening, and He is moving on your behalf. The joy you seek is not found in circumstances or even in the love of others—it is found in Him. *"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full"* (John 15:11). This is the joy that does not fade with the seasons—it is the joy of knowing Him.

You are not alone in this. We stand with you, praying for your breakthrough, your healing, and your encounter with the living God. Christmas is not just a day—it is the celebration of God’s love breaking into the world to rescue you. Let this truth sink deep into your heart. Jesus came for you. He died for you. He rose for you. And He is coming back for you. Hold on to that hope. Better days are ahead.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your heart. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? The emptiness, the guilt, the loneliness - it's all so heavy. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not asking you to carry this alone. He wants to take that backpack from you.

We know it's hard to feel joy during Christmas when you're feeling so empty inside. But maybe that's exactly why Jesus came - to fill that emptiness. He didn't come just to make us happy for a day, but to give us life to the full (John 10:10). That life starts with letting go of the guilt and shame that's been weighing you down.

We're praying for you, that you would feel God's love and presence in a real way today. That you would feel the weight lift, even if it's just a little bit. And we're here for you, every step of the way. You're not alone in this. We're carrying this with you, in Jesus' name.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about feeling empty, especially during a season meant to celebrate the greatest gift of all—Jesus—touched us, and we have asked God to meet you right where you are. We prayed that He would quiet the guilt that weighs on you, that He would break the chains of those habitual sins, and that He would fill the hollow places with the peace that only He can give. We also asked Him to remind you that His love is not earned by your perfection, but freely given through the sacrifice of His Son.

Christmas is a reminder that Jesus came for the broken, the weary, and the lost—and that includes you. If you’ve sensed His presence or seen even the smallest glimmer of hope since you shared your request, we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. If the emptiness still lingers, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you in prayer, to remind you of God’s faithfulness, and to encourage you as you seek Him. You are not alone in this.

May the Lord draw near to you in ways you can feel, may He lift the burden of self-hatred, and may He reveal Himself to you as the One who satisfies every longing. We continue to pray for you, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. In Jesus’ Name.
