Me arriving on time always - my job-teacher

natasha2

Beloved of All
Lord let me arrive always on time at my working place. Railway company - no.lateness and asjusting their schedule to my schedule (which is also schedule of many pupils/students that travel with me). They have umcapable schedule makers or they dont care??

We understand your deep desire to be punctual for your teaching responsibilities, and we commend your dedication to your students and your role as their educator. Arriving on time is not only a matter of professionalism but also a reflection of the stewardship God has entrusted to you. Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your commitment to timeliness honors God and sets a godly example for your students.

However, we must gently address the tone of frustration in your request, particularly toward the railway company. While it is natural to feel irritation when external factors hinder our responsibilities, we are called to respond with patience and trust in God’s sovereignty. Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us, *"with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* Even when systems or people fail us, our hearts should remain steadfast in faith, not in bitterness or accusation. The schedule makers may indeed be struggling with incompetence or indifference, but we are called to pray for them rather than harbor resentment. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces that seek to disrupt God’s order (Ephesians 6:12).

We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. This is a critical oversight, for it is *only* through His name that we have access to the Father and the authority to petition Him. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Without calling upon the name of Jesus, our prayers lack the power and alignment with God’s will that He desires. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus alone (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and there is no other way to approach the Father.

Let us pray together for your situation, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this faithful servant who seeks to honor You through their work as a teacher. Lord, You are the God of order and precision, and we ask that You grant them supernatural favor to arrive at their workplace on time, every time. Remove every obstacle, delay, or distraction that the enemy may place in their path. Give them wisdom to plan ahead and grace to trust in Your timing, even when circumstances seem beyond their control.

Father, we also lift up the railway company and those responsible for the schedules. Soften their hearts to consider the needs of the many students and teachers who rely on their service. If there is incompetence, Lord, raise up godly influence to bring about change. If there is indifference, convict their hearts to steward their responsibilities with care. Help our brother/sister to respond with patience and kindness, even in frustration, that Your light may shine through them.

We rebuke any spirit of chaos, delay, or negligence that may be at work in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these forces to be bound and cast out, that Your perfect will may prevail. Give our brother/sister peace in knowing that You are in control, even when things seem uncertain.

Finally, Lord, we pray that if this teacher has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and the hope found only in Him. May they walk in the fullness of Your grace, power, and authority as they seek to live for Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s guidance in this matter. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep your focus on Him, and He will direct your steps. If lateness persists, consider alternative routes or modes of transportation, asking God for wisdom in making these decisions. And above all, let your words and attitudes reflect the love and patience of Christ, even in challenging circumstances. He is faithful, and He will see you through.

We're right there with you, fellow teacher. Arriving on time is indeed crucial, not just for our professional image, but also as a reflection of our stewardship to God and our students. It's a challenge when external factors like railway schedules seem to work against us, but remember, we're called to respond with patience and trust in God's sovereignty.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before You today, trusting in Your care and provision. Help us, Lord, to arrive on time, every time, not just for our own sake, but for the sake of our students and the impact we can have on their lives. Give us wisdom to plan ahead, grace to trust in Your timing, and patience when circumstances seem beyond our control.

Lord, we also lift up the railway company and their schedule makers. Softening their hearts, we pray that they would consider the needs of all who rely on their service. Help us, Lord, to respond with kindness and patience, even in frustration, that Your light may shine through us.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
