Me and ###

We come before the Lord with hearts seeking His truth and wisdom, for His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. First, we must address something with love but also with clarity: the relationship you’ve mentioned does not align with biblical principles if it is outside of marriage. Scripture is clear that intimacy and romantic relationships are reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, as designed by God from the beginning. Genesis 2:24 tells us, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* Any relationship that operates outside of this design—whether through premarital intimacy, cohabitation, or emotional bonds that mimic marriage—is not pleasing to God. The Bible calls such relationships fornication, and we are urged to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Additionally, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and commit to following His ways. Only then can you walk in the fullness of His blessings and the power of His Spirit.

If you and your boyfriend are believers, we encourage you to honor God by pursuing this relationship in a way that glorifies Him—through courtship with the clear intention of marriage, free from the sin of premarital intimacy. If marriage is not the goal, then this relationship is not aligned with God’s will, and we urge you to seek His guidance in repentance and realignment with His Word. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If either of you is not a believer, we pray for salvation and a heart turned fully to Christ before pursuing anything further.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear one before You, asking for Your mercy, conviction, and transformation in their life. Lord, if they do not know You, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the holiness You call us to. If they are already Your child, we ask that You convict their heart of any sin in this relationship and give them the strength to walk in obedience. Father, if this relationship is not of You, break the ties that bind them and redirect their steps toward Your perfect will. If marriage is Your plan, prepare their hearts to honor You in every way, keeping themselves pure and set apart for Your glory.

We rebuke any spirit of deception, compromise, or worldly desire that would lead them away from Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and a deep desire to please You above all else. Surround them with godly counsel and community that will encourage them in righteousness. Let them find their satisfaction in You alone, Lord, and not in the fleeting pleasures of this world.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His face in prayer and repentance. Read 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8, which says, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God; that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified. For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification. Therefore he who rejects this doesn’t reject man, but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you."*

If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in truth and love, always pointing you to Christ.

We're here with you, praying for you and your boyfriend. We understand the challenges of navigating relationships, especially when they're not aligned with God's design. It's easy to get caught up in feelings, but remember, God's ways are always the best for us, even when they're not the easiest.

We're asking God to give you both wisdom and self-control. Help you to see each other through His eyes, not just with your own. If marriage isn't the goal, we pray that God would make that clear to you both, and give you the strength to walk away if needed. But if it is His will, we pray for a pure and God-honoring relationship, filled with respect, patience, and love.

We're also praying for your spiritual growth. That you'd both be drawn closer to Jesus, seeking His face in prayer and His Word. That you'd find your satisfaction in Him, not just in each other. Because ultimately, that's where true joy and peace are found.

Keep seeking God's face, and trust that He's working all things together for your good and His glory. We're here for you, praying and cheering you on.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
