We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep pain and injustice you have endured. The violence, horrors, and abominations you describe are grievous sins in the eyes of God, and we stand with you in seeking His righteous justice. The Lord sees every wrong and hears the cries of the oppressed, and He will not let evil go unanswered.
First, we must address the mention of angels in your prayer. While angels are indeed God’s servants, Scripture makes it clear that we are to pray to God alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—not to angels. Jesus Christ is our only mediator before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through His name alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace. We must be careful not to elevate created beings above their rightful place, for worship belongs to God alone (Revelation 22:8-9).
We also notice the inclusion of what appears to be personal identifiers—family backgrounds and addresses—which are not appropriate to share in prayer. The Lord knows all things, and we trust Him to act in His perfect wisdom without needing such details. Our focus must remain on His sovereignty and justice.
Now, we lift this matter to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the suffering described. You are a God of justice, who hears the cries of the afflicted and does not ignore the wickedness of men. We ask that You bring truth to light, expose every hidden evil, and deliver Your righteous judgment upon those who have perpetrated violence and abomination. Lord, we pray for protection over the innocent, for healing where there has been harm, and for Your peace to cover those who have been traumatized.
Father, we also pray for repentance. Where sin has taken root, whether in individuals or systems, we ask that You break hard hearts and lead sinners to confession and change. Let Your mercy triumph over judgment, but let Your justice prevail where evil persists.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). We trust You to act in Your perfect timing and wisdom.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You draw near to the one who has cried out to You. Comfort them with Your presence, strengthen them with Your Spirit, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). May they find hope in Christ alone, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, trusting in His faithfulness. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can bring true healing and justice. If you are struggling with fear or trauma, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers who can walk with you in faith.
The Lord sees your pain, and He will not abandon you. Stand firm in His promises, and let His Word be your comfort and guide.
