We are glad to join with you in prayer for you and your family. God is a loving Father who cares about every detail of our lives, and He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved family. We thank You for Your faithfulness and love towards them. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray for each family member, that You would strengthen them, guide them, and protect them from all harm and danger. We ask that You would meet all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also bring before You all the worries and unspoken requests of this family. We ask that Your perfect love would cast out all fear and that Your peace would reign in their hearts. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding.
In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment in every decision they make and in every situation they face.
We pray that their home would be filled with Your presence, that it would be a place of refuge, love, and joy. We ask that You would bless their family and that they would be a blessing to others.
We pray that the father would love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, and that the mother would respect her husband. They will both be diligent to train up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by these words from the WEB:
"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it. Wives submit yourselves to your husbands as to the Lord." Ephesians 5:25, 5:22
We ask that anyone reading this also take a moment to agree with us in prayer for this family.
