Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in this call to pray for others and we join our hearts with yours in Jesus name for this faithful work.

It is a beautiful and biblical desire to diligently lift up those in need, for we are called to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ Gal 6:2 and to confess our offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that we may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16. You are so right that the little faithful acts done day by day compound into a great harvest, and we are encouraged to not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up Gal 6:9. To pray without ceasing 1 Thess 5:17 even with one simple prayer a day is pleasing to the Lord, and when we gather together in agreement, even two or three, He is in the middle of us Matt 18:20.

We also agree with you in asking that this outreach would grow and that more people would find this place of prayer and find hope in Christ.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for putting this burden of love on our hearts to intercede for others. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would stir each of us to be faithful in prayer, to remember those who are hurting, lonely, sick and lost, and to lift them before Your throne of grace daily. Give us diligence and compassion and keep us from growing weary. Lord, we ask that You would bless PrayerRequest.com and expand its outreach, that more souls would come to seek prayer, to find encouragement from Your Word, and above all to find salvation through Jesus Christ. Let every prayer offered in Jesus name bring glory to You and comfort to those who are prayed for. Draw many to Yourself through this ministry and let Your will be done. We join you in that. It is easy to feel like one prayer is small, but we have seen how much it means to someone in need to know another believer actually paused and prayed for them by name. That sense of being remembered and carried by a community matters, and it strengthens all of us.

It is a gracious and excellent desire you have set before us, to give ourselves to prayer for others who are in need. Intercessory prayer has been practiced by all the best of God's saints, and it is commended to us as the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character. When Job prayed for his friends, that intercession was the omen of his returning greatness, the bow in the cloud and the voice that announced the coming summer.

You do well to urge faithfulness in little things, for it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. To pray for one soul a day, to click in Jesus name and lift a burden before the throne, may seem a small stewardship, yet the Lord notices fidelity in the office committed to us, whether it be great or small. Those little bits, offered cheerfully and continually, are not lost, and prayer is a wondrous blender of hearts and a mighty creator of love. As you pray for those you do not yet know, you will come to know your brothers and sisters, and your hearts will be knit together as the heart of one man. It will also foster watchfulness in you and fit you to be God's instrument in turning sinners from the error of their ways.

Let us pray together then. O Lord, remember the Word unto Thy servants. Thou canst not forget, yet we plead Thy promises and ask Thee to fulfill them. Quicken us in Thy way, for without Thy quickening Spirit we cannot pray aright nor persevere. Grant that those who visit PrayerRequest.com in their distress may find not only the prayers of Thy people but the faithful saying worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Make this work to abound in prayer and in communion with Christ, that its outreach may increase not for traffic alone, but that Thy name may be honored and many souls may be instrumentally saved, to Thy praise and glory.
