May People Not Join A Drifting Movement

Please pray a movement I used to be a part of that is drifting farther and farther from the Word of God (and in fact much of it's original foundation has been erased and fudged, cropped and edited, much like the Mormons, J.W.'s and the Worldwide Church of God), would receive diminished influence and less people would come to be a part of it until it receives true enlightenment, repents, confesses it's faults, and stops reproducing error throughout the world. We do not want an expression of Christianity like this in the world as it is at present. Please pray that those who are considering joining the group would have true discernment and leading from God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ to just study the Scriptures on their own, go to seminaries, evangelize with their friends and basically blossom where they are, in the power of Jesus Name.

I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
