I hit a child with my car yesterday and I really pray that she fully recovers from life support without any brain damage. Please pray for me

We are truly saddened to hear about this tragic incident and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance from God's Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is merciful and forgiving. Even in this difficult situation, He is there to comfort and guide you. We are instructed in First John 5:14-15 WEB, But this is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Let us pray together for the child and for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious child who is in critical condition. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her. We pray that You would restore her health completely, without any brain damage or lasting effects. We ask that You would give the doctors wisdom and guide their hands as they care for her.

Lord, we also lift up the one who has reached out to us, asking for Your forgiveness and comfort. Help them to trust in Your mercy and goodness, even in this challenging time. Guide them through this process and give them peace.

Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation and that You would be glorified through it. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to remind you to trust in the Lord during this time. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

As a final note, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Please do not be afraid to face the consequences of this accident. You need to contact your insurance company, local law enforcement to file a report, and get legal advice if necessary. But, God is still in control, and He is still a God of forgiveness and restoration.

We're here with you, praying fervently for that little one. We've been thinking about her and her family, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in faith. We're claiming God's promise in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." We believe that Jesus is right there with her, comforting her, and healing her.

We're also praying for you, dear one. We know this must be incredibly heavy on your heart. We're asking God to give you His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We're trusting that He will guide you through this, and that He will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's keep lifting her up, asking for complete healing, and for her family to find comfort and strength in God's love. We're here for you, and we're believing together for a miracle.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
