Beloved of All
📖 "Pray, then, after this manner [1]... 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Your Name Be Kept Holy! Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

<———------- ———(Selah)——————————>

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

[1] Jesus' Prayer He taught was an outline, summary of topics, a form or "pattern prayer." The following has been condensed from six reliable sources, is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not mindlessly repeated), but through serious consideration, understanding the weight of the petitions, ardently prayed, expecting answers, James 1:5-7, James 5:16-17... C.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek FIRST The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, THEN these other things shall be added to you." -- His Honor Kingdom Will; Then Our Provision Forgiveness for Us, Others (Relationship w/ The Holy Father and our holy brothers and sisters 1 Jn 1:7-9, Kept from Sin Evil, Standard & Personal Prayer Guide, Matt 6:9-13 and some Pertinent Scriptures under the Headings of Each Petition...

***🙌 Our Father in Heaven, we first pause (reflect on Him with whom we are addressing as Father, The Holy One of Israel, and mostly as Gentiles at that, who loved us while we were yet sinners, strangers of the covenants and Scriptures, yes - even hostile in our minds -- and thank You. For all, but specifically for "loving the world (including us, me 🥰) so much You gave Your Only-begotten Son, that by believing in him we may be spared perdition and rather freely gain eternal life, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood and died on the cross for our sins, 1 Cor 15:3-4, burial, resurrection declaring both Him and us "not guilty" Rom 4:25, and ascension (adoption, enthronement, Ps 110:1), as Son-of-Man-in-Power to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language of intimacy, Abba, i.e., "Daddy" or "Papa, etc" as Jesus used in time of impending crisis for deliverance in the Garden of Gethsemane, "Abba, Father," Mark 14:36.

🙏 Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, The Trinity, Beginning in Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Jireh or Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow ALL Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

🙏 May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT, GIFTS, WISDOM, POWER & HOLINESS... FRUIT, of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, apostles, (missionaries/church planters), prophets, (encouragers/exhorters/visionaries), evangelists, pastors and teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. Mostly the POWER to live a Holy Life overflowing with LOVE for God and others, singing and making melody from "singing seminaries" and "the walking practice of evangelism" is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm, where we are redeemed, have peace with God, are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, are part of "New Creation" though only a "foretaste of the good things to come." The change our bodies will incur and all creation eagerly awaits is our hope in Romans 8 and latter Revelation and is where ALL of these things will be realized in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom will have full expression once it's fully come on earth as it is heaven again -- the "not yet," -- "May Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven," Matt 6:10. May Jesus return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20.

🙏 May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- Keeping in mind the Kingdom Coming, as described above, in differing degrees, the already and the not yet, we ask here in the already that we may know, submit to and do Your will for our lives individually (hearing His voice, Jn 10:27, being led by the Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, as Jesus did during His time on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, and obedience to any personal directives, admonitions and restraints, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28, and collectively as the church until You come to reward the righteous and recompense the wicked, 2 Cor 10:3-6, and arrive in fulness at the Return of Christ, Matt 24:30, Matt 25:31-32.

<——————-———————(Selah)——————--————————>

🙏 Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

🙏 Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

🙏 Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

🙌 For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking our Father for giving us this pattern for prayer and for the way you have laid out its petitions with such reverence and care. We agree that what Jesus taught in Matt 6:9-13 was not given to be mindlessly repeated but to be a framework for how to approach the throne of grace, to seek first His honor, His Kingdom and His will before we bring our own needs. As it is written, In praying, do not use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking Matt 6:7, and But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matt 6:33. We also rejoice that you have centered your prayer in Jesus name, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

Your outline captures the beautiful order of this prayer so well, first beholding who our Father is, then hallowing His Name, desiring His Kingdom and His will, and then bringing our daily needs, our need for forgiveness and for deliverance.

We pray together with you now.

Our Father who is in heaven, we pause before You with awe that while we were yet sinners and strangers You loved us and gave Your only born Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life John 3:16. Thank You for showing us the Father through Jesus John 14:9, for His blood shed for our sins, His burial and resurrection for our justification Rom 4:25, and for the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry Abba Father Gal 4:6. Because we received Him and believed on His name You gave us the right to become Your children John 1:12.

We hallow Your Name. Your Name is gracious and compassionate Exo 34:6. May Your Name be kept holy in our thoughts, words and deeds, and may our lives not cause Your Name to be blasphemed among others Rom 2:24, but rather may Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea Hab 2:14 and may every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father Phil 2:11.

We pray Your Kingdom come. Your Kingdom is not eating and drinking but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit Rom 14:17. We ask You to cause the fruit of the Spirit to abound in us, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Gal 5:22-23, and to manifest Your gifts among Your people for the building up of the Body until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God Eph 4:13. For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power 1 Cor 4:20, so we ask for power to live holy lives and to see Your works done, and we long for the fullness of Your Kingdom when Christ returns and Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10. Come, Lord Jesus Rev 22:20.

We pray Your will be done in our lives. Lead us by Your Spirit for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Rom 8:14. Help us to abide in Christ that we may bear much fruit and so prove to be His disciples John 15:8, to hear His voice John 10:27, to go and make disciples of all nations baptizing and teaching them to observe all things that He commanded Matt 28:19-20.

Give us today our daily bread. We confess we do not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God Matt 4:4. We trust You to supply every need of ours according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19, that we may love You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength Mark 12:30 and love our neighbor as ourselves Mark 12:31.

Forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors Matt 6:12. We confess our sins, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We name before You our failings and we choose to forgive those who have sinned against us, praying for them and entrusting judgment to You who judges righteously Rom 12:19, that we may walk in fellowship with You and with one another 1 John 1:7.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13. Keep us from evil John 17:15, from deception and from every snare, give us angelic protection for He will put his angels in charge of you to guard you in all your ways Psa 91:11, and keep us from falling, that we may stand holy before You.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. All authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18, and Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom which shall not be destroyed Dan 7:14. Not to us, Yahweh, not to us but to your name give glory Psa 115:1. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will 1 John 5:14 and that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive Mark 11:24, for however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes and in him is the Amen to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20.

We ask You to deepen our understanding of this prayer so that it is not a ritual but a daily communion, prayed with understanding, faith and expectation as James 1:6 and James 5:16 teach. Make our prayers fervent and effective and shape our lives to reflect the petitions we pray. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We are grateful for the way you have lingered over the prayer Jesus taught His followers, wanting to put the Father's honor and His kingdom and will first, and then bring your own daily needs for provision, forgiveness, and keeping from evil. We hear a sincere desire not to repeat words without thought, but to pray with understanding and trust that God hears.

That kind of steady attention is itself part of growing. Spiritual growth rarely happens all at once. It is usually gradual and lifelong, with seasons that feel full and seasons that feel dry, but over time the Lord does shape us. It helps to think of prayer more like training than trying, small faithful steps that add up, rather than one effort that must accomplish everything. Staying close through time in the Word, honest prayer, and worship with other believers gives that training a place to take root, and it is the Holy Spirit who brings the growth as we keep showing up. And because God has made each of us uniquely, the rhythms that help one person stay attentive to Him may look a little different for another, so grace for yourself in the process matters.

One simple way to keep this pattern from feeling heavy might be to stay with just one phrase each day this week, turning it into your own words before the Lord and noticing what He brings to mind, without feeling you must cover every petition every time.

Father, we thank You for this hunger to know You and to seek You first. Draw our friend deeper into fellowship with You, meet their daily needs as You see best, and keep them in Your peace and care as they walk with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and right thing to take up the prayer which our Lord himself taught and to turn it from a form of words into a breathing desire of the heart. You have done well to remember that he gave it not to be mindlessly repeated, but as a pattern after which we are to pray, with understanding of the weight of each petition and with expectation that the Father heareth us.

Our Lord began where all true prayer must commence, with the spirit of adoption, Our Father who art in heaven. It is only through our Lord Jesus Christ, who shed his blood and was raised for our justification and who now ever liveth to intercede, that sinners who were strangers and enemies are brought nigh and may cry Abba, Father. If we were abiding in Christ to the full, we should abide in union with each other and with God, and the prayer would be answered in us. See then that you come not upon your own merit, but upon his, for as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.

Hallowed be thy name is no light word. It asks that his gracious and compassionate name, as he hath revealed it, may get honor through our thoughts, words and deeds, and that our lives may cause it to be reverenced and not derided. Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth, was our Lord's own prayer for his people, and holiness is an essential qualification to a man's fitness for being used of the Lord for the extension of his kingdom. Pray then that you may be made holy, for without holiness no man shall see the Lord, nor serve him aright.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, looks both to the present reign of grace in the heart and to the glorious coming of the King. The kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, and it cometh not with mere talk but with power, with fruit and gifts and a holy life overflowing with love for God and for others. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then these other things shall be added unto you. And pray also, Come quickly Lord Jesus, for we wait for that full manifestation when he shall reign and his will shall be perfectly done.

Give us this day our daily bread teaches a holy dependence. We cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Ask for spiritual bread and for all needed provision, that you may love the Lord with heart and soul and mind and strength, and your neighbor as yourself.

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors brings us to the heart of the gospel. There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am he that blotteth out thy transgressions, complete and eternal, purchased by Christ and continued daily to his people. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinner's forgiveness, and God can bestow it now. Yet that blessed prayer that teaches you to ask for mercy bids you say, forgive us as we forgive. Unless you have forgiven others you read your own death warrant when you repeat the Lord's prayer. Confess your sins by name, receive his cleansing according to his promise in Christ, and from a forgiven heart forgive those who have sinned against you, praying for them and entrusting judgment to him who judgeth righteously.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil is a prayer to be offered every day. Temptation is the best school into which the Christian can enter, yet in itself apart from the grace of God it is doubly hazardous. Pray then to be kept from sin and from the evil one, from lies and fear and deception, and ask for his keeping power and angelic watch, lest you fall as others have done. The remedy when temptation presseth is prayer, and the precise prayer is this.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever reminds us that we pray to one whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and whose dominion endureth throughout all generations. What is the use of preaching or praying if it does not glorify God. Not unto us, O Lord, but unto thy name be glory.

May the Lord make this pattern a living prayer in you, not a form alone but the breathing of a child to his Father, offered through Jesus Christ alone, in whom all the promises of God are yea and amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your careful meditation on the prayer the Lord taught us has been received with thankfulness, and it is good to see you treat it not as words to be repeated without thought, but as a pattern to shape the heart.

You have ordered it rightly as He did, first seeking the Father and His honor, His kingdom and His will, and then bringing forward our own needs. This is what He commands when He says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things will be added. When we begin with Hallowed be Your name, we ask that His name, which is gracious and compassionate, may be honored in our thoughts, words and deeds, and not dishonored by our lives. When we pray Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, we ask for that perfection of conduct which the angels show in heaven, while still confessing that we are encompassed with flesh and need His grace to do it. And when we pray Give us this day our daily bread, we are taught not to ask for riches or delicate living or costly excess, but for bread for one day only, enough for today, trusting Him for tomorrow, and remembering that we do not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from God.

Your petitions for forgiveness and for deliverance are also according to His mind. He joins forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, to teach us that we must show mercy if we hope to receive it, naming our own sins honestly before Him and praying also for those who have sinned against us, that they may repent and be saved, leaving judgment to the One who alone can save and judge. And when we pray lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, we confess our weakness and His faithfulness. No temptation has taken hold of us except what is common to man, and God is faithful and will not let us be tempted beyond what we are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it. He gives angelic protection and keeps us from the evil one, yet He calls us to watch and to avoid approaching Him carelessly, for to come at random is dangerous, but not to come at all is famine and death.

Continue therefore to pray in this way, with understanding and expectation, asking for wisdom and believing that He hears, as James says. Abide in Christ, bear fruit in love and holiness, forgive as you have been forgiven, and walk in the power of the Spirit with contentment for today. May the Lord grant you daily bread for body and soul, establish you in peace and joy, keep you from temptation and the snares of the evil one, and cause His name and His kingdom to be evident in your life until He comes. We join you in thanking the Father for His love shown in giving His Son, who shed His blood, was buried, rose and was enthroned, pouring out the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry Abba, Father, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus, for His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen.
