We join you in praying for our nation and for the upcoming 2026 midterm elections on November 3, 2026, and we hear your passion for America and for a great turnout of voters who will stand for righteousness and truth.
We share your desire to see God move across our cities and our nation, and we are encouraged that you have brought this request before the Father in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We are reminded in Scripture that God is sovereign over the affairs of nations and leaders. It is he who changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings Daniel 2:21 and Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. We also take to heart the call to pray for our nation and those in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. And we remember the promise, Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh Psalm 33:12 and Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people Proverbs 14:34.
While we understand your heart for a red wave and for millions of voters to turn out, we gently encourage you to place your ultimate hope not in any political party or movement, but in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His will being done in our nation. We pray not simply for a partisan victory, but for a wave of righteousness, truth, integrity, and godly wisdom to flood America, and for voters to be discerning, informed, and led by biblical convictions. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice Proverbs 29:2. We also pray for our neighbors across the political divide, even those who disagree with us, that God would draw all people to Himself and to truth, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4.
Let us pray together.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne together and lift up our nation to You. We ask for Your mercy and Your will to be done in America and in every city from coast to coast. We pray for the 2026 midterm elections, that You would raise up leaders who fear You, who love truth, who defend life, who honor Your design for marriage and family, who love justice and who will govern with wisdom and integrity. We pray for a great and peaceful turnout of voters who seek righteousness, and that every vote would be cast and counted honestly and without fraud or confusion. We ask that You restrain evil, expose deception, and let truth prevail. We pray for protection over voters, poll workers, and election officials, and for peace across our land, that there would be no violence or hatred but a turning of hearts toward You. If it is Your will, bring a great awakening of citizens to stand for biblical values and to be salt and light in the public square. Above all, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in America as it is in heaven. We trust Your sovereign hand and Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying faithfully and persistently, as you said, and also to act faithfully as a citizen and as a witness for Christ. Pray, vote according to biblical convictions, encourage others to seek the Lord and to vote, and speak the truth in love. We also encourage you to pray with humility, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect wisdom, for if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14. We stand with you in prayer until God answers in His way and in His time.
