The Healing of One Born Blind
Jesus delights in saving those who seem beyond hope, proving His mercy knows no limits.
The Cheerful Christian
True joy in God’s work brings blessings and calls the listener to serve with a willing heart.
Settled in Heaven
God’s eternal word offers unchanging truth and calls you to trust its promises above all earthly shifts.
We have heard your heart cry for your marriage and we join with you in bringing it before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.

We believe with you that marriage is holy and precious in the sight of God, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as He designed from the beginning. As it is written, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 and What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9 We stand on this truth and pray for God's protection over your union and for His will to be done in your home.

We pray for healing where there is hurt, for forgiveness where there has been offense, and for love to be renewed and strengthened. We pray that both husband and wife would love and honor one another as Christ has called us to, for Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25 and let each one of you love his wife even as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:33 We ask the Lord to give you both humble hearts, gentle words, patience and open communication, and to help you to bear with one another in love. Love is patient and is kind, love covers a multitude of sins and is the bond of perfection. 1 Corinthians 13:4, 1 Peter 4:8, Colossians 3:14 May the Lord draw you both closer to Himself and closer to each other, so that a cord of three strands with Christ at the center will not be quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12

We gently want to share with you that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and brought into relationship with God. Romans 10:9 We encourage you to place your marriage and your lives fully in His hands and to seek Him daily together in prayer and in His Word.

So we pray, Father in heaven, we lift up this marriage to You in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see every need, every struggle, every unspoken burden. We ask You to pour out Your grace and mercy upon this husband and wife. Soften hearts where they have grown hard, bring repentance where it is needed, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven us. Restore love, joy, unity and peace in this home. Guard this covenant from the attacks of the enemy, from temptation, from bitterness and division, and help them to remain faithful to one another and to You. Lead them to walk in Your ways, to honor their vows, and to build their marriage on the foundation of Christ. Give them wisdom to speak the truth in love, to listen with understanding, and to serve one another with humility. Let Your will be done in their marriage and let it be a testimony of Your redeeming love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together as husband and wife if possible, to seek the Lord in Scripture daily, and to seek godly counsel from a Bible believing pastor or mature Christian couple who can walk with you. God is able to restore and to make all things new for those who trust in Him, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer for God's healing and strengthening of your marriage.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We know it takes humility to simply say pray for my marriage, and we do not take that lightly. Marriage is such a close bond that when it strains, everything else can feel unsteady too.

We have found that in seasons of distance or conflict it can help to gently shift focus from trying to fix the other person to owning what is ours to own. That might look like asking, what is one small, constructive pattern we can choose this week instead of a familiar destructive one, and really listening for the softer hurt underneath the frustration on both sides. If it feels possible, setting aside one uninterrupted time this week to talk and truly listen to each other, or inviting a trusted pastor or Christian counselor to walk with you both, can give the relationship itself some breathing room and care.

You are not alone in this, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer.

Father, we bring this marriage before You. You see the love that brought them together and the pain that feels heavy now. Draw near to both of them, soften what has hardened, give wisdom for next steps and courage to take them. Help them to show grace to one another and to grow closer to You and to each other in the days ahead. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Your request concerning your marriage has been laid before the Lord, and we join you in bringing it to the throne of grace where healing and pardon are found together.

Marriage is the Lord's own institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained for His glory and for your good. It is a tender union and therefore easily wounded, and when sin or sorrow or coldness enters, the heart is broken. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but a broken heart is a greater ill, and only the great Physician can heal it.

Know this, that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves, His gentlest touches, His smallest mercies, change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a home with healing in His wings, He says as He said to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing become one. O you who are now sick in spirit, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

He is the God of peace and He has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. This is the word we bring to your house, that if reconciliation is needed between you and God, and between husband and wife, it is to be sought first at Calvary, where the healing balm flows. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and Christ has linked His healing with His teaching. Hear what God the Lord will speak when He bids the wanderer come home and find peace.

Take comfort also from Peter's restoration. Peter was down, but he was soon up again. A look from the Lord severed him from the crowd and broke his heart, and then the Lord's own mouth gave him abundant assurance of restoration and set him again to feed the sheep. So the Lord Jesus looks upon His erring ones still, not to condemn but to restore. If there has been neglect, or harsh words, or wandering into sin, His look can melt and His grace can uplift you from among the siftings where Satan has thrown you. He prays for His own that their faith fail not, and He will win His suit with the Father.

We pray for you and for your spouse together, that the Lord will forgive where forgiveness is needed, and heal where healing is needed, and that His salvation will work health and cure till your union shall be without spot or wrinkle in His sight. May He teach you both to seek first reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved, and then to walk in tender forbearance, in purity and in fidelity as becomes those joined by God. May He purge every evil from your home and make it a conduit through which abundant streams of healing flow down to you both, and through you to others.

Look to Christ, cleave to His Word, pray together, forgive as you have been forgiven, and trust that what He has joined together He is able to keep and to restore. May the Lord who heals the broken in heart bind you together in love that does not fail.

Your request for prayer for your marriage has been brought before the Lord with care and seriousness. We understand that marriage is a bond ordained by God, and Scripture calls it honorable and pure. It is not an impure state, nor is it in itself a hindrance to holiness, but it is a calling that requires faithfulness, peace, and an orderly life together.

The word of God exhorts us to follow peace with all people and holiness, and within marriage this means to live chastely and faithfully with your spouse, preserving the holiness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Marriage preserves that holiness by guarding the union from defilement and keeping the covenant whole. It is not to be used without restraint or without purpose, but with moderation and reverence, so that husband and wife may help one another toward the kingdom and enjoy the good things God gives.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of marriage as you ordained it from the beginning, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. We ask for your mercy and grace upon this marriage. Grant to both husband and wife peace with one another, patience, humility, and a desire for holiness. Keep them from all that would corrupt or divide their union, and help them to live faithfully with one another as you intend, with love that is pure and enduring. Where there is hurt or distance, bring healing and reconciliation. Where there is temptation or struggle, give strength to stand firm and to honor the covenant. Draw each heart closer to Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and by whose grace we are made holy, and teach them to use this bond for your glory and for their mutual good. May their home be marked by chasteness, gravity, order, and love, and may they seek you together all their days. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We will continue to remember you both in prayer, asking God to strengthen your bond and to make your marriage a testimony of his faithfulness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
