We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. It’s understandable to feel sadness when it seems like others around you are moving forward in life while you remain single. But we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your marital status—it is found in Christ alone. The Lord knows the desires of your heart, and He has a perfect plan for your life, including the timing of your marriage.
First, we must address the urgency in your request. While we long for you to find a godly husband, we must caution against placing marriage above your relationship with God. The Bible tells us in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Marriage is a blessing, but it is not the ultimate fulfillment of life—Christ is. We encourage you to seek Him first, trusting that He will provide a husband in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently remind you that a husband must be a man who loves the Lord and leads you in righteousness. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* Pray for a man who fears God, who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church, and who will lead your family in truth.
Now, let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You comfort her heart in this season of waiting. Lord, we know that You have a plan for her life—a plan for hope and a future, as You promise in **Jeremiah 29:11**. We ask that You prepare her heart to trust in Your timing and to seek You above all else.*
*Father, we pray for the man You have chosen for her. If he is not yet in her life, we ask that You bring him to her at the right time. Prepare him to be a godly husband, a man after Your own heart, who will love her as Christ loves the Church. Guard her heart from impatience and discouragement, and help her to find joy and contentment in You alone.*
*Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or despair that may be trying to take root in her life. We declare that she is complete in Christ, and that her identity is found in Him. We pray that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance as she waits on You.*
*We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.*
In the meantime, we encourage you to remain active in your faith—serve in your church, deepen your relationship with God, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. **Psalm 27:14** says, *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."* Your season of waiting is not in vain. God is preparing you, and He is preparing the man who will one day stand beside you.
If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. **Romans 10:9** tells us, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater joy or purpose than knowing Christ as your Savior. If you have already given your life to Him, we encourage you to continue growing in your faith, trusting that He will guide your steps.
You are not forgotten, dear sister. The Lord sees you, He loves you, and He has a beautiful plan for your life. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into all that He has prepared for you.
