We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage in prayer. Father God, we ask that You would restore intimacy, love, and unity between this husband and wife, as You designed marriage to reflect Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Marriage is a sacred covenant, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, and we pray that both would honor You in their roles—wives submitting to their husbands as unto the Lord, and husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church, sacrificing for them with tenderness and strength.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or rebellion that has crept into this union. We declare that the enemy’s schemes to destroy this marriage will not prevail, for You have given us authority in Jesus’ name to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We bind every evil influence, every ungodly soul tie, and every word spoken against this marriage in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your anointing of peace, wisdom, and restoration flow like oil over this home.
Father, we ask that You would put Your words in their mouths—words of life, encouragement, and truth. Let their communication be seasoned with grace, as Scripture commands (Colossians 4:6). We pray that this wife would respect her husband as unto You, Lord, and that he would lead with humility, wisdom, and Christlike love. May their marriage be a testimony of Your faithfulness, drawing others to You.
We also lift up their purpose and calling. Just as Esther was raised up "for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14), we declare that this couple has a divine assignment. Let them walk in the fullness of their God-given destiny, fulfilling the plans You have for them. Shame every evil plot against them, and let righteousness prevail in every area of their lives.
Father, if there has been any sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask for conviction and repentance. If there has been unfaithfulness, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we pray for healing and restoration. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this marriage be a living example of Your redeeming love.
We bless this couple in the name of Jesus. May they experience Your touch in every area of their lives—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Pour out Your favor upon them, and let their home be filled with joy, peace, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. We declare breakthrough, restoration, and divine alignment with Your will.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
